And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Thanks.. it is the mother of a very good friend. She was 90 & had lived a long life & unfortunately has caused my friend a lot of pain for a lot of years.

sometimes that kind of death is harder to take than a close one.. So much unfinished business & big zeros for answers to "why"

Nope, I saw it as well. He thinks this may well be a turning point. (I also think the new Press Secretary will be a great help to the President and it's showing already.)

I agree 100%. Tony knows how the press works, and if he shuffles them all out onto the Lawn, they are pretty clear that if they want THEIR questions answered by him and assistance from him, they gotta pull their weight. In other words, they have to report it. Quid Pro Quo! I LOVE IT! WOOF!

Does anyone know why Tony Snows account has been banned or suspended? I wanted to read some of his last postings before he accepted the Press Secretary job.

By agreement. We don't need every enemy of Tony and the Administration trolling around FR looking for his comments.

;-) It's also bad grammar. I think the FReeper meant to use the plural.

LOL

There you are. Good to see you. I thought about the grammar angle, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was thinking of it as a show title.

Well, dang. I guess none of you listened until the end of the show. The Judge and Brian took my call and I think I stunned them. But everyone must have gone to the Rush thread and show and left them all alone in my clutches.

Doggonit, would you at least give me a heads up when you are on the line...I'll never forgive myself. Actually, I got a phone call and I missed you. Darn, darn, darn.

I'll tell you how it went if you link back to my explanation on the thread tomorrow. It was a hoot, but I'm not sure when they paniced and cut me off.

I shall certainly do so, and I hope all is well with you and your lovely Mrs. KC.

Well, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised that Judge Napalitano answered my call-in comment yesterday by saying, “Well, I don’t know what we can say to that” (or words to that effect). I knew that like many of the Fox call screeners, the one that I addressed wanted something succinct and to the point.

So, I took the two topics that were being discussed that May Day, Gas Prices and Amnesty billing itself as Immigration Rights (or should I say the reverse…) and made the point that they were only normal, serious problems not the crisis that the leftists were making them out to be for the purposes of seizing central government solutions.

I had been led that direction by the normally sensible Brian yielding to the central planning dogma of more gas taxes by his earlier guest, the 80% sensible Krauthammer.

Anyway, when they put me on I said words that were condensed from the eminent Dr. Thomas Sowell’s The Vision of the Anointed

Sowell points out that in political gamesmanship of the Left every problem is an opportunity. The opportunity proceeds like this:
1.) A perceived Problem is recognized, manufactured, invented or discovered.
2.)The Problem is termed by the leftists involved as a CRISIS. (Like now, the Gas Price Crisis)
3.)The CRISIS is shown to only be manageable by central authority.
4.) That management must be wholesale, i.e. revolutionary and not careful reform.
5.) The vision to diagnose, manage, apply the correctives and even have a voice in the decision is only held by the anointed of the left ..the others, such as those effected or traditional conservatives need not apply because even if they had the true answers, they were flawed and don’t really care the way the Anointed care. In fact, they are probably disqualified because of the automatic disqualifiers applied the every conservative value. These disqualifiers can be heard currently.

If you want to protect the borders, you are a racist, bigoted against all Latinos. If you believe in private property, profit making and capitalism, you are a greedy, robber baron looking to subjugate the working man.

Anyway, to say that would have been impossible in a radio comment. So I simply said, “ Congratulations on the new show Brian and The Judge, I think that both problems we ae discussing today are just normal serious problems instead of the overblown Crises that Leftist politicians are trying to paint these as, in order to proclaim they can only be solved by the central planning of central government solutions, and that conservatives can’t have a voice in the solutions because they are all classified as racists by the Anointed of the Left.”

Of course, out of the blue, that comment, standing alone, blew the Judge's hat off and prompted his comment I gave at the start of this post.

LOL, I would have loved the chance to spell out Sowell’s wonderful analysis of how the Left treats every political encounter in his deftly analyzed manner, but such shows don’t allow such detail.

Brian and the Judge, if one of your staff digs this up, I respect and enjoy you both but we are really playing along with the worst of the lame-stream media.
