"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Speaking of treasonous senators, Byrd mentioned in passing on the floor of the senate that Rockefeller had undergone serious surgery and is not expected back in DC until the end of May, if then. I have not heard one other word about it and it really set me to wondering if something else is up with him. Maybe not, but I found it odd.
How about Patrick Leahy? Byron York said that he was the most hateful and hated man in the Senate.
Air America awaits you!
I like da Judge, however Brian needs help!
Let's give em a chance!
LOL!
>I have watched Colbert. The dinner performance was not even 'roasting', he went beyond that.
He was just insulting and rude. The was a "roast", so that some of that is appropriate, but its supposed to be funny. He wasn't funny.

You weren't kidding! That stunk!
There really is quite a list of hideous senators when you think about it.
Once you realize every word out of Colbert's mouth is Bush/Conservatives bashing he can be funny. But yeah, he's a comlib moonbat through and through. When he interviewed Bill Kristol last week and Kristol called for Rumsfeld's resignation I don't know who I disliked more.
I'm an evil conservative because I prefer produce grown in America. Here in FL I see more and more vegetables and fruit from the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. Snow peas and cabbage and more. The snow peas were awful. The only illegal aliens I can go for is 1-2 million in farming and food processing. To keep farming at home. Give these ones work permits. Boot out the rest and build a fence. Institute employer sanctions
I don't see much air between us on the issue of illegals. I don't think I care where produce is grown, but I admit I haven't given it much thought.
It is remarkable to see how many there are. Wow.
It's one thing to read the numbers...it's another thing to SEE them.
Makes me think of the Manchurian Candidate 2006. Maybe they are implanting some evil stuff [more evil?] into his brain.
In reality, he is probably getting a face lift so he can run in 2008!
Promoting Victory Gardens would made all of the citizens healthier, would remove incentives for Mexicans to come into the country, and would save the environment, too.
I recent eating tomoatoes and apples that have traveled more of the country than I have! lol

Yep .. and this will backfire on them
I worry about e coli and other diseases in fruits and vegetables from central and south America. Their fertilizing processes are different from what is practiced in USA.

> Wonderful. How do you find these things?
In anticipation of a Press Briefing Thread, I intend to check there schedule, as well as Whitehouse.gov, at least daily.
I was just there on their web site.
What a great idea- Victory Gardens! I don't have a yard- but I DO have 4 tomato plants, and 3 peppers growing in pots. During the winter (well..Florida winter!) I grew lettuce in pots- it was WONDERFUL!
