Lou Dobbs Tonight: Mexican Congress Supports Insurrection in U.S.
CNN ^ | April 28, 2006 | Lou Dobbs

                                                Lou Dobbs Tonight

DOBBS: Mexican lawmakers are on their way to Los Angeles to participate in Monday's boycott and demonstrations in support of amnesty for all illegal aliens in this country. The Mexican government lawmakers last night passed a resolution showing their overwhelming support for the demonstrations and boycott in the United States. All political parties in the lower house of the Mexican Congress approved the resolution. This is just the latest example of Mexican politics trying to influence U.S. policy and U.S. public opinion in the illegal alien amnesty debate.

Illegal aliens in this country and their supporters intend to severely disrupt the nation's economy and our schools with their boycott and demonstrations Monday. The groups will not consider their boycott a success unless they succeed in basically shutting down our cities and pressuring Congress to pass amnesty for all illegal aliens.

"Who controls the Legislative and Executive branches of our government? This can't be laid off on the Democrats."
____________________________

I agree, that is completely unfair considering Bush is leading the charge for amnesty and the country club pubbies are following like poodles.

The Boycott is an act of war by Mexico and domestic enemies within this country. Sadly, our prez will not see it that way and is even sympathetic to the illegals cause.

That deserves repeating, thanks! For some reason conservatives and Bushbots like to ignore that fact.

Our form of government was never meant to run on a the one party system of the Republicrates; which tends it ignore the overwhelming desires of it's voters.

The way to fix this system is to set lobby licensing fees at a trillion dollars per year per lobbyist, and give all member of congress, administration, and all bureaucrats a subsistence wage of $15,000 per year (with no benefits).

This government needs an enema and a diet. It doesn't do anything anyhow except spend money on pork barrel projects, allowing illegals to take American jobs, and illegal gangs run drugs and terrorize our citizens! Who needs it.

Lou went away from business and finance long ago. All he talks about is immigration/border security and free trade.

All that and his constant and unrelenting carping of the Bush administration.

LOL!! Of course not. Carping, bitching and bellyaching sells well to other carpers, bitchers, and bellyachers.

What's your point? You have a problem with those of us who are furious that our President and Congress won't secure our borders and have every right to say so?

Puleeeeze. Tom Tancredo is one of the very few people who have come out stridently against illegal aliens. He is marginalized almost to a man by every Republican holding national office.

The President has come out in support of converting illegal immigrants into guest workers. He has advocated making it easier for them to become citizens at some point. He has advocated letting in MORE Mexican nationals. He has advocated loosening our immigration process so still more immigrants from the world over can come here.

Now you want to blame the democrats for being the worst? Tell me what could be worse than these people continuing to get free healthcare, free education and free welfare?

No! The Democrats are not worse. We could pass solid legislation to end this travesty if we wanted to. Our side doesn't. That is a national disgrace.

I agree. Let's take Mexico's oil fields and their other resources--- as reparations for their invasion of our once sovereign nation.

On the contrary, you're providing fabulous entertainment to a lot of us.

Ok, thought I'd post this to demonstrate his utter hypocrisy. Sat, 20 Mar 2004 09:06:53 EST; "LouDobbs@InvestorPlace.com" "George Bush's BIG SURPRISE for the U.S. Economy -a wealth multiplier for shareholders in 2004 Investors, often misled by the chronically liberal media, are making a huge mistake right now." I sent Lou an email citing his hypocrisy. On Sat, 10 Apr 2004 09:21:00 -0400 I received another email announcing his news newsletter. This time the section about Bush was omitted. I trust Lou as much as CBS, but he does have a better poker face.

ow about annexing Mexico, making about 3 states out of the territory. They have all the oil we will ever need and thousands of miles of beach-front property just begging for development. hummmm..

Fine, but where do we send all the illegals?

I don't consider it an act of war, but it is undeniably prevocative. Mexico is that one neighbor on the block who won't mow his lawn, paint the house or have their pets do their dootie on their own property.

No salesman who finds a lucrative market is wrong.

Even Rush Limbaugh will remind people that he's first and foremost an entertainer.

It's obvious you're fired up about this and we have a different POV, so I won't take this too much further before it heats up and I get zapped by a kitty.

I don't think the guest worker program is akin to amnesty and I think the dems' position is worse. Since we have to choose between two options, I'll take the GOP, which isn't as bad. The alternative, not voting, voting 3rd party, or voting dem would make the situation worse, let alone the other pressing issues.

The same argument you're making could be made about the deficit. Neither justify ignoring the dems' outrageous behavior. IMHO.
