Lou Dobbs Tonight
DOBBS: Mexican lawmakers are on their way to Los Angeles to participate in Monday's boycott and demonstrations in support of amnesty for all illegal aliens in this country. The Mexican government lawmakers last night passed a resolution showing their overwhelming support for the demonstrations and boycott in the United States. All political parties in the lower house of the Mexican Congress approved the resolution. This is just the latest example of Mexican politics trying to influence U.S. policy and U.S. public opinion in the illegal alien amnesty debate.
Illegal aliens in this country and their supporters intend to severely disrupt the nation's economy and our schools with their boycott and demonstrations Monday. The groups will not consider their boycott a success unless they succeed in basically shutting down our cities and pressuring Congress to pass amnesty for all illegal aliens.

Kick them out at the border.
If Lou wanted to solve this issue, he'd call the democrats out. Over and over and over again.
This is an invasion from Mexico.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
But of course. Remittances are Mexico's 2nd largest source of revenue, and they're only too happy to see much of their criminal element leave.
On this issue Dobbs has been doing some heavy lifting...
(AP) April 28, 2006.
NEW YORK - The percentage of working-age Americans with moderate to middle incomes who lacked health insurance for at least part of the year rose to 41 percent in 2005, a dramatic increase from the 28 percent in 2001 without coverage, a study released on Wednesday found.
Moreover, more than half of the uninsured adults said they were having problems paying their medical bills or had incurred debt to cover their expenses, according to a report by the Commonwealth Fund, a New York-based private, health care policy foundation. The study of 4,350 adults also found that people without insurance were more likely to forgo recommended health screenings such as mammograms than those with coverage, and were less likely to have a regular doctor than their insured counterparts.
The report paints a bleak health care picture for the uninsured. "It represents an explosion of the insurance crisis into those with moderate incomes," said Sara Collins, a senior program officer at the Commonwealth Fund. Collins said the study also illustrates how more employers are dropping coverage or are offering plans that are just too expensive for many people.
About 45.8 million Americans did not have health insurance in 2004, according to the USA Census Bureau. The percentage of individuals earning less than $20,000 a year without insurance rose to 53 percent, up from 49 percent in 2001. Overall, the percentage of people without insurance rose to 28 percent in 2005 from 24 percent in 2001. The study also found that 59 percent of uninsured with chronic conditions such as asthma or diabetes either skipped a dose of their medicine or went without it because it was too expensive.
All the more reason to KICK THEM THE HELL OUT.
How many more reasons do we need?
I remember Lou whinning about the economy and then sending me his investment letter, which explicitly said Bush was ushering in a huge growth opportunity, but no, I don't get your referrence; please enlighten me.
I agree 100%
I'd love us to do a reverse "mariel boat lift" and send all the US imprisoned illegals back to the southern mex border...
Stop those illegal aliens from sending money back to Mexico and see if their politicans will continue to support the invasion of the US.
I think playing the populist side of this issue, not the reality based side such as you were referring to with action directed towards Congress, is just a ploy to gain him recognition and ratings.
Looks like their Congress is fed up with their President, too.
And they're winning without firing a shot. So far.
Gottcha, agree 100%. If he really wanted to do something, he'd remind the public of a few facts:
1. Like who's organizing these protests, what they really want and stand for.
2. Which party favors that which most Americans oppose (this issue alone, like gay marriage, could win the elections for the GOP, if they don't follow the Amnesty crowd).
3. What other "benefits" these people contribute.
4. Compare them to the people dying to get in, legally.
Frankly, some of them might be ok and maybe should be on some path to citizenship, but we'll worry about them after we get the border secured and get the crap out. If they help with that, bonus points.
