I think playing the populist side of this issue, not the reality based side such as you were referring to with action directed towards Congress, is just a ploy to gain him recognition and ratings.
Gottcha, agree 100%. If he really wanted to do something, he'd remind the public of a few facts:
1. Like who's organizing these protests, what they really want and stand for.
2. Which party favors that which most Americans oppose (this issue alone, like gay marriage, could win the elections for the GOP, if they don't follow the Amnesty crowd).
3. What other "benefits" these people contribute.
4. Compare them to the people dying to get in, legally.
Frankly, some of them might be ok and maybe should be on some path to citizenship, but we'll worry about them after we get the border secured and get the crap out. If they help with that, bonus points.
Can you enlighten me a bit? Which is it: Are you differing with what Lou Dobbs is advocating, which is securing our borders, or are you just accusing him of pretending to be upset that politicians won't do their constitutional duty and secure our borders? And if it's the latter, what proof do you have that Lou's stance is a ploy to get him recognition and ratings? I would really like to know.
Lou Dobbs is not the problem, open your eyes people!
The illegal aliens are threatening this country!
They are the ENEMY foreign and domestic!
Democrats used to be united with Republicans when it came to our security. Now they're in bed with these clowns.
