In a just concluded debate and press conference, author and FBI Consultant Paul Williams and Jeff Epstein of "America's Truth Forum" reveal they have been advised by Pakistani journalist and Bin Laden biographer Hamid Amir that Al-Qaeda will use smuggled nukes against the US if the US takes military action against Iran.
Amir established his credentials by correctly predicting that Egypt would be hit by terrorist action a full two weeks prior to the events of last week. Amir, a Pakistani journalist, has been in contact with high ranking Al-Qaeda officials for several years.
The debate (between Richard Miniter and Paul Williams) and press conference were webcast LIVE by Rightalk.com. Audio files of both events will be available for downloading by this afternoon.
For a quick start of the chain reaction at the right moment a neutron trigger / initiator is used. An initiator is not strictly necessary for an effective gun design [1] [2], as long as the design uses "target capture" (in essence, ensuring that the two subcritical masses, once fired together, cannot come apart until they explode). Considering the 70 spontaneous fissions per second this only causes a delay of a few times 1/70 seconds, which in this case does not matter. Initiators were only added to Little Boy late in its design.

You are WRONG. Guns do NOT need initiators!
You said -- "see post 260."
Well, you disagree. That's obvious.
In any case, I would rather destroy their religion completely which is the *basis* for their evil acts and deeds. Ask any former Muslim and they will tell you that this is the *basis* -- not some "hijacked religion" and not some "radical clerics". It's *inherent* in their religion. To defeat them -- their religion must be elminated.
It's either eliminate their religion or eliminate them. I would favor eliminating their religion.
In the end -- Jesus Christ -- when He returns will eliminate their religion, instantly. And He will set up His Kingdom on this earth. That's clearly stated in the Bible.
I'm just advocating doing that sooner -- rather than later -- in order to elminate the Islamic threat that we face.

You seem to be having trouble with facts and logic.
Nothing atomic can cross our borders. People are another story entirely. Unless they've had radiation therapy, people aren't going to show up on our radiation monitors.
Now, THAT I like!!!
I don't care about the Jesus stuff. The 'turn the other cheek' part turns me soooo against christianity. However, the fact is that you are 100% correct that ex-islamics and most current islamics agree that islam must take over the world, or it'll die.
This is no different than the fight against communism. It's one or the other. I'm glad we're on the good/winning side.
Radiation, even shielded, gives off heat (detectable from satellites and aerial drones) and causes various types of shielding to emit detectable chemical fumes...which can be picked up by aerial drones and filters.
You said -- "Sorry ST, I don't agree with you here."
Well, okay..., fair enough. But, that will happen sooner or later anyway, whether the U.S. does it or it happens at the time of the Tribulation when the Third Temple is put up on the Temple Mount, as it indicates in the Bible.
It would just be good to be rid of all the Islamic terrorism in the meantime.

You said -- "A nuclear detonation on American soil would send this country into a maniacal rage. I think anything would be possible."
"Clamoring" for it is one thing. Doing it is another. It's the U.S. Government, under the control of the President and Congress and the Military who would do it -- not the masses in the streets hollaring for it. It won't happen.

hahahahahaha. Good one. Welcome to FR. I think you'll make a great addition to this site.
You said -- "watch out for people like southack that seem to minimize the dangerous. He was dangerously wrong when saying uranium gun-style bombs that can be made under 300lbs need fancy initiators to detonate."
Well, regardless of how you detonate those bombs -- it doesn't change the idea I have for dealing with Islam, that evil and corrupt and false religion. It still needs to be eliminated from this world, and all the clerics who teach it, along with the religion.

Star Traveler
P.S. I don't doubt that a bomb like that can be snuck into this country. And our government believes that too -- or else -- they wouldn't be checking for radiation... That says a lot -- right there...
You said -- "We don't need to eliminate all of Islam for the same reason we don't have to nuke the Vatican to fight the KKK."
That's kind of like killing the cancer in the body by removing only half of it (or whatever percentage). You're trying to get the cancer completely out of the body. That's the goal.
Islam is a cancerous and dangerous religions. It grows exponentially by means of its methods for recruitment ("off with your head") and the fact that everyone who is born into it -- remains in it the rest of their life (or is killed...).
I say remove *all the cancer* from the body....

There are millions of silent peaceful muslims. Yeah..we would all wish they would be more vocal in their condemnation of the radical element but they are fearful. As they should.
If you want more than an explosive fizzle, you must have a neutron emitter (aka trigger/initiator).
Unless you are making a Hollywood movie. In which case, carry on.
I'm completely reliable. You, on the other hand, in two posts on this thread so far have called Tritium a trigger material.
It is not. It is a booster agent, and no one with any nuclear knowledge would make your mistake, much less make it twice.
Which is to say, you are an imposter with fact-checkable errors on this thread.
I.E. you are busted.
Which was to be expected for a newbie.
