The Truman analogy is perfect.
Sit tight. Iraq is slowly coming together and Iran looms. All this is meaningless.
Foreign policy is key and Bush will control the agenda.

If I got polled, I would say that I am very dissatisfied with the job Bush is doing.
But the idiotic MSM would assume that I therefore will vote Democratic, when I would sooner chew off my arm than do so.

As gasoline prices have spiked above $3 a gallon throughout the country, the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds that the publics view of President Bushs job, the economy and the nations direction have continued to decline. Man, oh, man. The first thing out of their mouths is an opinion. How about, "As illegal immigrants rallied in the streets..."? You think they'd ever start a news piece with that? Who knows what people are mad about? A bunch of things, is my guess.
What really gets me is MSM's automatic assumption that polling numbers which are bad for Bush are to be counted as pro-Democrats. Ha! Me, I'm mad at Bush for not being far enough to the right on issues. How's that going to help them in November?

Of all the things I'd slam Bush for, gas prices are most definitely not on the list. People who are upset at this should be pushing all the harder for making the tax cuts permanent.

It is confirmed that Osama bin Laden was captured early today.

Bush lobbing for makeing multi millions of NEW (VOTING) DEMOCRATS could have something to do with it.. Cause ALL illegal and legal aliens and new citizens WILL be democrats you see..
The only reason democrats are AGAINST Bush is because when they are against Bush republicans will close ranks and support all of Dubyas policys.. i.e. making MORE VOTEING democrats..
Pretty smart of them.. Republicans are oblivious and the democrats and RINOs know it..

Just 'cause I have a few issues with Pres. Bush doesn't mean I like the alternatives better 'n him. Whatever my issues with the President (immigration, spending, no child gets ahead, drugs for geezers, immigration, etc.) he's much better on these things that the Demoncrat alternative.
The LSM seem to miss that.
