well that just stinks.......
I need a macho kinda man...I have NO PATIENCE for men not willing to go toe-to-toe with me....
but I also want a guy not so inclined to gawk at hoochie mammas.....
oh boy.....
Good news is....I saved money....er I mean......At least I like being single...
;-)
So where's the pictures?
The sight of a potential mate might therefore actually make men more sensible
Did this study actually determine anything? I think the "researchers" must've been enamored with the hot chicks, too, based on these ambiguous findings.
Are we allowed to post Nature articles here?
It seems that the more macho a man is at least according to his hormones the more the sight of an attractive woman will affect his judgement.
P.C. Editing error:There, fixed it.The sight of flesh had less effect on the bargaining tactics of low-testosterone men.Should read...The sight of flesh had less effect on the bargaining tactics of gays.
why oh why do i never ever get invited to be on these types of RESEARCH groups...i mean who pays for this research? jeeze why do u need to research something we already know...ask any 14 year guy and up....
Shocking! Is this why guys go to strip clubs, pay ridiculous prices for drinks, throw money at the girls, and leave wondering "why she doesn't like me for me?"
I forgot what we were negotiating about.
Sure, take as much money as you want.
Handling a bra usually gets my attention.
You don't think they were talking about an EMPTY bra, do you?
Hehehe, if true, be wary of business negotiations done in a strip club...someone attempting to hustle you.
Well, duh.
And this is news????? Advertisers have known this for years.
While I can pretty much agree with this statement, and know there's some sound science to back it up (not this study, however), this article is bunk. Either the writer left a bunch of stuff out, or they simply don't know what they're doing.
What's missing here is that the article does not at all mention estrogen. Measuring testosterone levels while leaving out estrogen levels is only putting together half of the puzzle. A man could have testosterone levels through the roof, but if his estrogen levels are also high, then the extra testosterone has little, if any, effect.
The article also fails to take into account the DHT levels in men. Many doctors believe that DHT is simply an annoying hormone left over from puberty (it tells things to grow) that causes hair loss later in life and makes the prostate act poorly. This ridiculous notion seems to be the standard belief among the AMA community. In truth DHT does a heckuva lot more that's beneficial than what's generally believed. The article would have much more scholarly efficacy had it talked about libido versus testosterone/estrogen ratio.
Only one head can lead at a time when it comes to driving a hard bargain.
Lust destroys patience (and your soul/will).
Advertisers have known this for decades.
