Yes, we all know that there are elements in this country that would like to see that the Bush Administration fails or even get impeached. These elements are a criminal cabal that was in the last administration. They are still pissed at George W Bush for winning the election in 2000 and again in 2004. They are trying everything to discredit him and the good work that he and his people have done for this country. They were so certain that Al Gore had won Florida that they were all ready planning on what they were to wear to the inaugural balls.
Fast forward to the year 2006 and the war on terror. These same people are still entrenched in the same offices that they had when the Clintons were in office. These are the same ones that now are being ferreted out and forced to leave their jobs and they are not very happy about that. This includes the politically correct Clinton Generals and Admirals that populated the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other positions.
These former Flag Officers go on the TV box and to the far-wing newspapers and spout their bs about how Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney are pushing President Bush’s buttons and making him do their dirty work. Well, that dog just does not hunt. George W Bush is a very intelligent man and he is running the show in the White House and the people that work for him know that. You can also be sure that if there is someone that does not toe the line and puts his policies (right or wrong) into effect they get the axe. That is why these certain Generals are not working in the Pentagon now.
Now we learn that there have been leakers in the top levels of the intelligence community and these leakers have done more harm to the effort to win the war on terror than what the disgraced flag officers have done. These people have been placed very high in the CIA and who knows what other Intel agencies and will start leaking them if they don’t get their way.
Then there are the Democrats in the Senate. Some of these Senators are on very important committees and have access to the same intelligence that the White House does. They go and spill their guts to media and get a very loud round of applause. Well these Senators are just as big or even bigger traitors than the people that leaked top secret matierial to the press.
What is needed for someone in the Bush Department of Justice to stand up and file some charges of treason against a few of these criminals.Yes, these people are just as bad or worse than the Rosenbergs, the Walkers and Aldrich Ames They should take them to a court of law and have a very public trial to show the rest of like-minded idiots what happens when they get caught. When they are found guilty after a trial, they should immediately taken out behind the courthouse and shot by a firing squad, There also should be no appeals.What appeals did our brave servicemen and women get when they were shot and killed, because some traitor spouted off his or her mouth? They got none.
We would have won this war on terror, if the people responsible for these leaks had just kept their mouths shut and not given the other side the courage to keep on fighting, when they were about ready to throw in towel. Who knows how many more yearst that we will have to keep on fighting these terrorists, now that they know what we are planning and when our troops will be moving to a different location.

It's what I have been saying since 2000. The children are pissed at the adults and are on an organized program of acting out until they get what they want. The destruction of GWB at any cost. Even that of our security and sovereignty.
For that they should be found and hung for treason.

It's going to take drastic measures to counter the enemies within. They have demonstrated time and time again that they are deadly serious to "bring it all down, man". Gore was willing to stop the igniting of the fuse in 2000 -- but will he be willing to stop it now?
This is about whose America survives the war to defend against radical Islam. It's a war within a war and our common enemy (radical Islam) is their friend.

That said, I find the Left's hatred for Bush somewhat of a puzzle, because Bush is taking our country deeper into globalism, multiculturalism and socialism than we were before he took office. The liberals should love him for that.
As time goes on I'm finding it harder and harder to see any substantial difference between President Bush and many of the liberals he pretends to be opposed to. His spending policies are insanely liberal, as are his international trade policies. The President's immigration policies are radically liberal too, as is his peculiar friendship with the ME Sheiks, and his incessant 'multicultural' propaganda that islam is "a religion of peace" and Communist China is a "great Republic", (they're neither great nor a republic). All China has that makes them "great" are billions of American dollars that we are forced to hand over to them at our local retail stores because of President Bush's global trade policies.

As for the article... I wouldn't call a former flag officer a traitor. I may disagree with them, but I doubt that after 20+ years of serving they'd suddenly switch sides.
I've always thought that the most effective course of action for the Left would be to stand by and allow the Right to have a taste of power.
