Illegal immigrants bother me less than illegal aliens; at least the immigrants intend on having a life here, rather than simply viewing our country as an extended job site.

I thought they were here to just take the jobs that I didn't want - ?

Does the President know about this?

I'll take a shot at it.

In the first line of the second paragraph she uses the Pew Hispanic number. In the second line of the second paragraph she uses the number 20 million that Pew doesn't use.

She is picking and choosing numbers. This is called dishonesty.

If she is being dishonest about this, what else is she being dishonest about?

Phyllis Schlafly has only pointed out that 20 million illegal aliens in our country is a problem, but this problem is only a symptom of a much more serious disease. The disease that is afflicting our economy and the future of our country is an inept and uncaring government. It is said that a people deserve the government that they have, so we only have ourselves to blame for the oncoming disaster.

If section 1 of the 14th amendment were changed, I believe this would go a long way towards helping our immigration/illegal alien problem.

Our President,President Bush seems to care more about the criminal alien Mexicans that are coming into our country without authorisation than he does for the hard working American citizens who are paying the bills.

He Basicly said so when he stated that "we could not deport the 12 million Mexican criminal aliens who are here already,After all these are people too"

The Republican Party has had it as of 2008. I will not vote for a party that will not stand on its principles.
The Republican party does not deserve that vote

Yep, time for the FairTax to put the pressure on the illegal economy and make it pay some part of the tax revenue they benefit from - instead of us paying it all.

There is no penalty on employers who replace U.S. citizens with illegal immigrants at lower pay.

And therein lies the root of the problem.

[[Employment agency manager Linda Swope told The Washington Times: "When they told the guys they would not be needed, they actually cried ... and we cried with them. This is a shame."]]

Now what would have happened if these US workers would have stuck together and said we are NOT letting these Mexicans take our jobs (at least not without a fight or national media spotlight)? This precedent needs to be set somewhere and I believe that it would send a message that we are tired be being played for fools. The party is over. I can't think of any other country in the world where it's citizens would sit idly by while foreigners came in illegally and took over a hugh segment of their job market for lower wages. Political correctness, diversity and multiculturalism will destroy this country from the inside.

"doing work that Americans will not do."

Like George Bush and our Congress who won't defend and protect America from foreign invasion? I'll bet when the Mexicans take over they won't be the push overs our present politicians are.
