Bin Laden: West at war with Islam

Al-Qaida terrorist leader Osama bin Laden said in an audio tape broadcast by Al-Jazeera television Sunday that the Western cut off of funds to the Palestinian Hamas-led government proved the US and Europe were at war with Islam.
"The blockade which the West is imposing on the Hamas government proves that there is a Zionist crusader war on Islam," the tape said.
"I say that this war is the joint responsibility of the people and the governments. While the war continues, the people renew their allegiance to their rulers and politicians and continue to send their sons to our countries to fight us," bin Laden said.
After the tape was released, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said "the ideology of Hamas is totally different from then ideology of Sheik bin Laden." But he also added that the "international siege on the Palestinian people" would create tension in the Arab and Islamic world.
"It's natural that this tension is going to create an impression that there is a Western-Israeli alliance working against the Palestinians," Abu Zuhri said, adding that Hamas is interested in having good relations with the West.
Only three weeks ago Damascus-based Hamas head Khaled Mashaal met in Yemen with a representative of bin Laden's organization, who is wanted by the US for his involvement in supporting and funding global terror.
During a visit to Yemen, the local Hamas branch organized a fund-raising event to recruit financial aid for the new Hamas-led Palestinian Authority government. During the event, Mashaal met with Sheikh Abd al-Majid al- Zindani - suspected by the US as being a 'loyalist to Osama bin Laden and supporter of al-Qaida' - who even donated 200,000 Yemenite rials to Hamas, the equivalent of a little over $1,000.

As if Bin Laden cared about the Palestinitans...

His call for the Muslim fighters to start focusing their attention on SUDAN is an interesting. Just throwing an idea out there: perhaps he KNOWS they are losing in Iraq and his cause is lost. So he wants to start focusing attention on his "jihad against the crusaders" ELSEWHERE, and away from the losing battlefield.

Keep repeating it,whoever you are pretending to be the dead OBL, and maybe it will finally sink into Joe Sixpack's head that we are, or should be.

Whoever determines where the battle is being fought clearly has the upper hand. We determined Iraq and are fighting them there. It would be a benefit for bin Laden to shift the focus elsewhere, because Iraq looks like a lost cause for him.
Sudan, however, is an EXTREMELY bin Laden-friendly place. It may be one of the most massive terror-supporting places in the world right now.

Yes not just the West. To bad Russia and China still support it, hopping to use it to destroy us. India is working to fight it more, but most countries fail to realize radical Islam wants to create a theocracy that rules the entire world, with an iron fist, and force everyone to be a Muslim, or slave. Islam is at war with moderate Islamic countries such as Jordan, it is at war with itself, as well as every non-Islamic country. And few are fighting back.

By the way Osama, you declared "war on the West" 10 years ago - remember? You even wrote it out moron.
Actually, he is wrong again. It isn't the "West" - just the US, Britain, Australia, and some of our new allies (like Poland and others).
The rest of the West (France, Spain, Germany, etc) have long since surrendered.

You said -- "Oh...if were true....sigh....Pres Bush thinks islam is peaceful. Too bad for us."
I said the following on the other bin Laden thread...
Well, the so-called "radicals" want to make it clear that the West is at war with Islam, because this will cause all Muslims to rise up and cause damage wherever they are -- as opposed to a handful of "radicals" doing it. So, they want *all* the Muslims to become like they are. They want to turn the U.S. into Beirut and Kabul and Baghdad -- a constant state of war and bombings and killings -- from every single Muslim who is currently living in the U.S.
On the other hand. Bush and company (by saying Islam is a religion of peace) wants the rest of Islam to remain "complacent" while they cut the legs out from under Islam -- without the masses reacting. Thus, his words "soothing" the rest of the Muslims -- saying that those so-called radicals have hijacked your poor religion and we know you're good guys and those others are the bad guys. So, don't worry -- we're not after you.
But, the thing is -- we're caught between a rock and a hard spot -- because Islam is a religion of war and a terrorist religion at heart.
What do you do in the meantime? I guess you keep lying to the masses of Muslims, making them think you're not at war with Islam -- and then cut the ground out from under the so-called radicals before the masses can react.
I would suppose that's the strategy of Bush and Co.

I wish Bin ladin was reading this site because I would tell him that the U.S. is not at war with all of Islam,The U.S. is at war with those entities that attacked our country and murdered our citizens. We are also at war with entities that support these murderers.
If the U.S. was truly at war with Islam there would not be one Islamic country untouched by the hand of the U.S. military and he could take that to the bank.
To: FairOpinion
Did he say anything about the "illegal" wiretapping or mention his support for the democrats's Terrorist Bill Of Rights?
