Just breaking on Fox...

No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....

Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media

WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.

CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.

One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."

These people are on the verge of just being silly!

I want to know what the Director of Artists for a Hate Free America actually *does*! My goodness. And most artists are members of the grumpy club???

Sarah Stephens, director, Freedom to Travel to Cuba Campaign: Stephens coordinates the Freedom to Travel Campaign, which focuses on developing strategies to end the U.S. embargo against Cuba. An active human rights advocate, from 1990-1991, Stephens served as Director of the Hollywood Policy Center's Human Rights Program, and later founded and directed Artists for a Hate Free America. She moved to Washington to work at the Washington Office on Latin America, and in December 2001 joined the Staff at the Center for International Policy.

I only do ethical hacks. Federal law makes hacks unlawful unless you have a note...

And the last site I helped to protect was in Richardson, TX. But they paid for that. Islamofacist barstids.

I don't play with fire. I can't afford to.

What do you need? Keep it ethical. Or don't ask me.

Paul Lubeck, senior fellow: Lubeck is a professor of political sociology, political economy and development studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

UCSC--That's where Lisa Witter, the EVP for Fenton, got her B.A. in Political Science.

"Mary's a sacrificial lamb. Isn't that cute, so close to Easter."

I can picture the reporter at the Times going to his editor and saying, "I need a sympathetic quote for my article on this McCarthy woman." And I can see his editor saying, "Go call Larry Johnson, he'll give you one free."

METRO SANTA CRUZ: You started out at UCSC. Was there a journalism program here back then?

Dana Priest: No, I still to this day have not taken one journalism course.

Actually, I think McCarthy is the sacrificial lamb of the VIPS group. They're the ones who encouraged people to break the law.

William Goodfellow

Jose Cardenas is taking over the Latin America portfolio on the minority staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

"The foundation's finest hours are behind it," said William Goodfellow of the Center for International Policy, a think tank on Central America affairs. "It is in, and will be in, decline."

But Jose Cardenas, Washington representative for the foundation, said his group will be redoubling its efforts in the capital soon, including expanding staff.

There are ways to be protected, you might ask a few of the bloggers who avoid being hacked.

I just noted that these people also have ties to Africa and European companies.

Yeah, I saw that too...however, I thought I read that McCarthy was appointed to the NSC in June 1998, replacing our "friend" Rand Beers. If Joe Wilson left the NSC in July 1998, they were only together there for a month. Hmmmm, unless they were part of the revolving door policy, always having someone from their little cabal there to keep an eye on things.

Mr. William Goodfellow is a busy man. He is also the president of the Latin America Working Group... http://www.lawg.org/index.htm

About the Latin America Working Group (LAWG)

The Latin America Working Group is one of the nation's longest standing coalitions dedicated to foreign policy. The Latin America Working Group and its sister organization, the Latin America Working Group Education Fund, carry out the coalition's mission to encourage US policies towards Latin America that promote human rights, justice, peace and sustainable development. As a coalition, LAWG represents the interests of over 60 major religious, humanitarian, grassroots and policy organizations to decision makers in Washington. We are a trusted voice in Congress, and provide reliable guidance to policymakers who want their decisions to be grounded in human rights.

Achievements. Founded in 1983, LAWG was a major player in opposing the US role in Central American wars of that decade, and one of the strongest voices for the negotiated peace settlements that took hold in the region by the 1990s. Since then, LAWG has gained US support for reconstruction and peace accord implementation aid, over a billion dollars in disaster relief, and the declassification of US documents that shed light on human rights abuses in Latin America and US policy. We have helped to ease restrictions on the sale of food and medicine to Cuba and have been a major force in opposing escalating US military involvement in Colombia while successfully promoting humanitarian aid to that country.

Seen any good demonstrations lately involving Latin Americans? They are lobbying on the topic.

Pinz
