Just breaking on Fox...

No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....

Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media

WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.

CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.

One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."

Don Fraser has had a strong, positive impact on his city, his state and his country. After graduation from the University of Minnesota, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II before returning to the university to earn his law degree. He began his political life as a state senator, followed by 15 years in Congress as U.S. Representative from Minnesota's Fifth District. Later he was elected to four terms as mayor of Minneapolis, the longest serving mayor in Minneapolis history.

in Congress his effect was felt in many places including initiation of the first comprehensive study of U.S. foreign policy and international human rights. He authored several laws requiring the U.S. government to give greater attention to human rights issues.

As an adjunct professor in the University's Law School and at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, he has taught courses on international human rights and on early childhood and public policy.

He has been married for 55 years to Arvonne who has shared activities and awards with him in the field of human rights.

Among (Arvonne) Fraser's achievements are organizing and directing International Women's Rights Action Watch, Center on Women and Public Policy and the national Washington office of Women's Equity Action League. She has served as U.S. representative to the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women with the rank of ambassador and has been a member of the U.S. delegation to World Conferences on Human Rights meeting in Vienna, Copenhagen and Mexico City.

If I could put this in gold for the two of you, I would. It looks like the beginning of the end for the likes of Kerry and I see he's 'celebrating'. Fiddling while his Rome burns.

I would hope that Mike Wallace throws out the name Jay Rockefeller just to see what kind of reaction Harman gives.

Harman and Goss used to be quite the reliable pair for national security issues. Once Goss was promoted Harman turned on him. When she was asked about the NSA wiretapping program on Fox News Sunday in December she replied that she was too dumb to understand the legalities involved.

I'm out of here probably until tomorrow.

Howlin's Mother Thread will probably be 3,000 + replies when I get back.

Bug everybody to make copies of data from rat sites and post here. The links will be no good in a few days, the rats will be electronically erasing all day and night throughout the weekend.

Larry Johnson dissed Britt Hume through print and tv. Cardinal sin in my book. He will never be forgiven and must pay. Maybe that is a reason that Fox News is the sole media outlet covering this story.

What I'm seeing on my other boards is that Libs are getting desperate as the realization that this is serious begins to hit them....

And the howls of "Bush Leaked Plame", "Condi Leaked", "Whistleblower!!", and Bush Lied To Congress!!" are getting louder.........

I REALLY hope this explodes soon. The FACTS are coming out, but will the media pick up on it???

Mary's a sacrificial lamb. Isn't that cute, so close to Easter. The idiot should have said Mary had a little lamb, her name was Dana Priest.

William Goodfellow (Dana Priest's husband) is the executive director of the Center for International Policy in Washington, DC. The Center sponsors scholarly research and leads activist campaigns to advance policies based on multilateralism, demilitarization, democracy, and respect for human rights. Prior to helping establish the Center for International Policy in 1975, Goodfellow was an associate with the Indochina Resource Center, an anti-war think tank.

Question: Your husband [human rights activist William Goodfellow] runs the Center for International Policy, so he must know a lot about what went down in all those Central American countries we were pals with. Did some of those techniques come from there? What does he have to say about all this?

Priest: What his organization does is to advocate, but they're based in Washington, so they do a lot of things with policy makers and people on the hill.

Mo....what I'm getting from all this reading is...someone TIPPED them to Mary McCarthy.....who was the TIPPER.

It could even be a case where they were doing a "unit sweep" or "random sample" (a little DOD urinalysis lingo there) via polygraph, and she "popped positive".

Dana Priest calls for Peace Corps for the 21st Century

"We need to call for a policy solution," she said in an interview. "We need a Peace Corps or a Vista Corps for the 21st century. We need people who are trained with the rigor of the military ... but who can establish a transitional judicial system, build an infrastructure ... or do police work."
