RALLY THIS SATURDAY IN PORTLAND.
THE PROTEST WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE MEXICAN CONSULATE OFFICE
1234 SW Morrison, Portland. (corner of 12th and Morrison).
Saturday April 20, 2006 starting at 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.
The reason for the change is that the Carousel program has been switched from Woodburn to Mexican Consulate in Portland.
The rally will be peaceful and respectful to the people in the area. If you are going to bring your own sign please make it one that makes a point but is not in bad taste. We will have signs available if you do not have one of your own.

The Mexican Consulate will again sell their PHOTO ID card ONLY to Mexican Nationals. ALL LEGAL IMMIGRANTS have ID. The Matricula Consular is used by Mexican illegal immigrants to obtain Oregon driver's licenses, open bank accounts, and establish themselves illegally in this country.
State of OREGON Agencies, including the Bureau of Labor & Industries will be present to assist Illegal Aliens, YES, Illegal Aliens!! B.O.L.I. is EXEMPT (subsec. 4) from ORS 181-Sanctuary Law. They CAN ask Immigration Status, but they do not. Why does Dan Gardner, the elected Commissioner of Labor and Industries, cater to illegal aliens?
The Mexican Consulate claims their ID Card, which is ONLY for Mexican nationals, is SECURE.
LARS LARSON & LOU DOBBS OF CNN are NOT Mexican Nationals. Both of them have Matricula Consular cards.
U.S. immigration laws MUST BE ENFORCED within this country as well as at our borders. !!

Are you like me -- sick and tired of our government's lack of action in securing our borders to stem the tide of illegal immigration?
After all, it's the primary constitutional duty of the federal government to protect our nation from invasion -- and there's no other way to describe what's happening at our wide-open borders.
It would be pretty easy to enforce national security there -- all President Bush has to do is send in the National Guard.
But he refuses to do it.
So once again, we average Americans have to do the job our government refuses to do. This time, the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) -- the volunteer "neighborhood watch" of 7,000 citizens on our nation's borders -- has announced plans to work with local Arizona land owners to build border security fencing on private land along the border with Mexico, unless troops are called in to secure the border.
You read that right -- if the feds won't do what needs to be done, the American people will do it themselves. But the Minutemen need YOUR help to get it done -- can you make a contribution today?

At present, six private land owners have partnered with the Minutemen for the commencement of construction of border fencing on their land. Surveillance cameras on the fencing will be monitored via computer by registered Minutemen across the country. They have chosen a fence design that is based on the Israeli fences in Gaza and on the West Bank that have cut terrorist attacks there by 95% or more. In order to be effective, a fence should not be easy to compromise by climbing over it with a ladder, cutting through it with wire cutters, ramming it with a vehicle, or tunneling under it undetected. No fence can be a 100% impenetrable barrier -- but a good design will be time-consuming enough to get through that Border Patrol agents can be alerted to get to a point of attempted intrusion before the intrusion can be completed. Chris Simcox, President of the MCDC, says those involved in the planning hope to keep costs near $150 per foot. Two construction companies to date have offered to inaugurate groundbreaking, coordinate volunteer construction crews and donate the use of the necessary heavy construction equipment.
The fencing will be built with privately donated funds, engineering and labor and will be used as an example to educate the public about the feasibility and efficacy of fencing to secure America's borders from illegal incursion by aliens and international criminal cartels. A non-profit organization dedicated specifically to this purpose will facilitate and administer donations for construction of the fence. Monetary and in-kind contributions for this effort will go directly into building materials for this private, volunteer fencing project.
The groundbreaking will begin in Arizona on Memorial Day weekend, unless in the interim President Bush deploys National Guard and reserve troops to immediately secure the out-of-control southern border.
Any bets on whether he does that?

Every day, in every way that is true. Don't expect the opportunist infested fed gov to think likewise. Seems their primary goal is to bring down our republic.

Three coming out openly against illegal immigration in OR is a good, if not big start.
Maybe someday the decent,patriotic people in OR will take the state back. That will be a great day in this country's history.
In a sense, three is a Trinity.

But, better late than never.
You're right, most of us do have better things to do with our time, but we still want to make our feelings known. Nevertheless, thank you for informing FReepers of what's about to transpire in Portland. I hope there's a follow-up to let us know the outcome.
I didnt go because OFIR sold their soul and endorsed RINO Saxton. I was planning to go but not after that. They did get good media coverage though.
Can anyone post a after-action report. Thanks in Advance.
