I'd prefer Dennis Miller.

Tony dealt with colitis for years, and a while ago it turned into colon cancer. He had major surgery last year where almost his entire colon was removed (if I remember correctly) and he had to take substantial time off his program. We prayed for him, as the surgery sounded serious.

He looks like he is feeling much better now, but stress is the last thing an illness like that needs. A shame, because I've heard Tony rope 'em up and hogtie 'em. He is one educated and serious debater.

The one I liked best was a liberal who called the show to tell Tony how a subject was discussed at a conference (some stupid liberal tinfoil hat thing) and Tony told him no it wasn't.

When the lib argued with him, Tony said, you are wrong, because I was there....There was total silence on the other side of the phone. I guess he shot him down good.

Hire Ann Coulter

That is an extremely good idea!

That girl can duck and jive with the best of them!

I liked McClellan and was grateful that he was able to last through rough times. He has thick skin.

All the best to him in the future.

Scott McClellan should've been out at least a year ago when he fouled up the president's stand on leak-gate. Bush himself had nothing but consistent statements but McClellan made it seem Bush had reversed himself leading to intense Media backlash.

This White House is terrible at PR. Good riddance to McClellan.

And not a minute too soon. His replacement will almost certainly be better.

Did I hear once that Scott McClellan was directly descended from George McClellan (of Civil War fame - or infamy)?

Check out what the first question was in today's press gaggle was.

Q Can you clarify what Karl Rove's role will be?

What a bunch of A-holes.

You'd think it be something along the lines of "Why are you resigning Scott?"

What in the world is this obsession with Rove? And can't they be the least bit polite? (Silly question.)

Sounds about right...and I betcha Chrissy Matthews will be talking about Rove's DEMOTION about 99% more than McClellan's resignation...

Boy oh boy do the dems and MSM hate Rove...

Although I am not sure if it is Bush, Cheney, Rove...in that order, or Rove, Bush, Cheney....or Cheney, Bush, Rove...

you get the idea.

Q Can you clarify what Karl Rove's role will be?

Let me be clear and succinct as possible: His sole duty will be to rip the Democrats a new a-hole!

Sis - I think he's too arrogant -- but that wouldn't be a bad thing in a Press Secretary. He'd squash those MSM cockroaches just with his attitude, and that would be a beautiful sight! Plus, he's disabled so maybe they'd be a bid more kind. Oh, wait... they're dems... never mind.

We knew he would leave when he said he would not leave. Can Rumsfeld be far behind?
