Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony") and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Oh... and this, out Friday:
Tony is not going to take it.
He makes more money out of that position. He honors working in the White House, but he is not going to leave what he is doing now.
Thanks Peach for that link
My computer is acting up today and I'm so behind on the news :0(
The country would be well-served with an effective communicator such as yourself as media pointman. That being said, whatever you decide will be fine with us.
Yes, and a knitter and weaver, and a lace maker and a spinner. ;-)
It was born out of nervousness during the 90's. Gee I wonder why!
But it also describes my day to day life and the tools I love.
Thanks for asking. :-)

Dang...I get here an hour late...and there are over 300 posts!!
Good morning Mo1!
I wouldn't blame Tony for not wanting to do it. Time is the biggest factor. I cannot imagine sacrificing the family time you can't get back for a thankless demanding job.
However, that said, it would put your name in the history books. And in three years when the job is over, you can retire with book deals, speaking engagements etc...
Or you could say no and have a nationally sindicated radio show.
Nice options really.
It's on fire with this word that Tony's been tapped for press secretary. He is being "coy" about it! LOL!
He's still in charge of strategery though... and that... is his strong point.
Don't feel bad .. I've been here since the beginning of the show and I'm 300 posts behind too
Remind me to send a thank you note to Microsoft for their lastest upgrade
I'm looking for a bat to beat my computer with ... grrrr
Good Morning Txsleuth
Way to go John!
And from the dark side on the story:

I agree with you. No matter how much he might like the job - you know he loves his family a lot more.
War on Terriers
As much as I'd LOVE to see him take it, AND the fact that I think his country NEEDS him, I don't think he can take it given what his family means to him. It's a conundrum, for sure.
Didn't they say Scotty would go the the post of communications policy?
