Six retired generals have called for Sec. Rumsfelds head. But the Commander-in-Chief has made it clear - hes the decider. But its not over yet according to Richard Holbrooke who writes in the Washington Post that more generals will continue to come forward until it consumes Donald Rumsfeld. Whos behind this mutiny? Tony has the latest.
Down With PC
Northern Kentucky University Professor Sally Jacobsen was ousted for leading a group of grad students to a grassy knoll near campus to destroy a bunch of white crosses. The crosses had been an anti-abortion demonstration and many were shocked that a college prof would attack free speech. Is this a bad moon rising for Campus PC Police?
Pain at the Pump
Summers around the corner. Irans President is mentally unstable. Price gauging questions are beginning to resurface
And the price at the pump is climbing with no relief in sight. Should Americans brace to pay more for a gallon of gas than they do for a cup of Joe at Starbucks?
Tony didn't leak the story -- and hasn't commented on the record.

Fox news just reported that Tony Snow had been considered for the White House Press Secretary job that Rob McClellan may be stepping down from!!!!!!!
What does anyone else know? I'm out of the loop.
This should be an interesting morning.
26 minutes from showtime:)
It's true. Tony and others are being considered for the job, according to the WSJ. The article is on FR right now.
Thunderstorms moving in so I'm logging off for a while.
Wendell Goler just reported on Fox News Radio that Tony has been "approached" about taking the WH Press Spokesman role but Tony has not said one way or another...Let's listen to Tony and express our opinions! (Mine is: Your Country needs you Tony!)
Thanks for the streaming info. They just pulled Tony off the air on KTAR in Phoenix and put on some local has-been that talks about how hard the water is!
Wow. If this is true I hope he takes it. Will miss him on radio but it would be worth the sacrifice. However, he's only permitted to take the job if he is allowed to smack the has been media around. If he has to start tiptoeing around I want him right where he is. My only concern is how much time this would take from his family. However, since it would only be for 2 years I think his wonderful family can handle the pressure.
Ya gotta be pretty proud of our guy, huh?
You go boy.
I don't know if someone has mentioned this yet....but the President will speak at 9am about the WOT..
Good morning, LL. This should be an interesting thread today, not that it isn't always.
First I heard of it, Dog. Thanks. Suggest you find a source and start a running thread in Breaking.
Good Morning! Thanks for the ping
Thanks for the heads up.
I think that this will be a record thread, possibly. I hope Tony takes it for the country but I would miss him in the morning. Still, I'd make the sacrifice (especially if they moved Gibson in the morning slot) just for 2.5 years!
Tony, I would sure like to see you 'splainin' things to the WH Press Corps...
