Here is the Reader's Digest version minus all the fancy syntax and funny lead ins. 8)
The Five Reasons Tony should Take the WH Job:
5) It will force "Surfer-Boy to get a real job.
4) Because he will work for peanuts, Tony will pay MUCH less in taxes.
3) He'll have a guaranteed parking spot in DC.
2) Because he will go to work early and come home very, VERY late, he will avoid traffic jams.
And the number one reason is:
1) Tony will not have to do any yard-work at the Snow house because he will have absolutely NO free time!

Ali, you humor is so subtle, it took me 30 minutes to figure out what you meant. I still have that picture of Penn in his boat somewhere; could use it to advertise the "cruise" to the folks on the Left coast.

Wow, when I take a morning off from the Snowlake crowd I sure know how to pick the wrong day to do it!
Listening on the Fox replay.
I can be nothing but thrilled at the opportunity placed in front of you, Tony.
My head would be swelling at the very thought of such a thing. If I were given such an offer, I would pull out the IV, put down the cheesy poofs, crush out the cig, and run, not walk to the White house for the once-in-a-liftime opportunity.
However, it seems to me that you have more freedom to do a great job at defending freedom and upholding conservative values right where you are without the headaches, with more family time and for more money.
That being said, putting the family first is never a mistake. I know that prayers will be answered and may it be God's will that is done.

David Letterman will be calling you soon! :-)
Thanks,

Oh... I hate to have to reveal this, but Nat was standing next to the "Beast Who Sucks All Air, Heat, and Light from the World" when that picture was taken, but I cropped her out of it.

Thanks pinz but I'd better keep my day job.
[Ooops, I don't have a day job. I'm retired!]

Well then you're free to be Tony's interim gardener for, oh say, the next 2.5 years... ;-P
Dave will just have to wait his turn!

The Rolling Stone wouldn't recognize a leader if it tripped over one.
Speaking of disgusting media outbursts, I was watching TBS last Saturday, they had some Disney movie on and I was drowsing off occasionally. Since it was a Saturday afternoon show it was geared to 13 year olds and the commercials etc. reflected that.
The network featured some sort of short piece during one of the commercial breaks.showing pre-teens and teens throwing pies and paper plates at various objects and shouting the name of the object in a derisive manner...sort of a "teen power" type theme. I was drowsing off....until I barely saw and heard one female teen throw a plate at the Pres' picture and declare "George Bush!"
I jerked awake and thought, how nice Ted Turner is reinforcing respect for the office of the POTUS.
/extreme and dripping sarcasm of course. I really thought about various severely painful accidents happening to Ted.

My daughter knits and I have a friend who is an accomplished weaver. Another friend also tats.
I'm not much good at that stuff, although I admire the creations of those that are.
I can sew, but I've never enjoyed it enough to consider it a hobby.
