Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony") and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Hee-hee! That must have him worried! ;o)
9:20 - I just got wind of the Tony for Press Secretary....
WOW - wouldn't it be nice if a man of conviction and principals was in that position.
God bless you Tony - whatever happens - go - don't go - either way you are in our lives and in our prayers.
Nice job!

So is the job-approval for Congress as a whole, and the media is even lower. We never hear about THOSE though, do we?
>Anything new today?
Nope absolutely nothing going on today?
Snowflakes, if Tony takes the job, we will have a big job ahead of us. Super duper secret passwords will be have to be changed, we will have to get nicer "snowman" jammers. New decoder rings will be issued ,and "buzz word" games rules will have to be adjusted.
Late but present.
I'm concerned for Scott's feelings too. I like Scott, and it's hard to watch him deal with the pack of jackals every day. Maybe he's not the right kind of person for the job, I don't know. I do think he deserves a rest from it.
To you much has been given... much is expected.
Bear your cross... I will personally slap you around before you go out for extra snarkiness. That's what friends are for.
You can also tell W that those jackasses on the hill have to speak out and be in to get the message out... W's busy and has his hands full. F polls... you know that already.
Welcome...I'm sure you've heard about Tony being considered for the WH Press Secretary post...
You will learn! :-)
Tony would be a fine replacement....but what will we do for three hours every morning? And we KNOW the podcasts of the press gaggle would never work!
Hi Rod
The WH must be reading FR as we suggested Tony for Scott's job some time ago ;-)
I think Tony would be spectacular in that job. He could zing Gregory, et al and they wouldn't even know they were zinged until an hour or so later. He could articulate the President's (and our positions) very well, has great insight, and would do a lot to get the facts out and help our country and the President. It would be great for Tony to have the President's ear and help him w his communication stratergy - - something he sorely needs.
It obviously would affect his time spent w his family, but it would *only* be for 2-1/2 years. Then he could stay home w his family and write a book and make up for the pay cut he'd be taking :-)
I know you're right about Scott McClellan. I heard he might be knocked upstairs into a communications policy role. There's nothing wrong with the guy and as much as I'd love to see Tony in the role, it IS a difficult job and every day he'd have to deal with other staffers with agendas.
Thank you. It needed doing...so I did.
Tony, you're right that no one can get time back.
While you would have an opportunity to influence and change history, no one else can be your kids' dad. Your wife is probably facing a harder decision than you are. :-)
She would join all of those military wives, sending her husband off to war. They'd be giving you up for 2.5 years.
But man, does your country need you. :-/
Know that you will continue to be in all of our prayers, whether you take the job in the White House, or continue to fight the good fight on the radio.
I'm prepared to offer up caffiene in your behalf, as my own little sacrifice for our country. ;-)
