I just heard on the John Gibson radio program that Tony Snow has been offered McClellan's job at the White House. He has not made a decision but will discuss it on his radio program tomorrow.

If there is any truth to this, think about taking the job.
You could probably do more for the War on Terror with a microphone in that position than I did with a rifle in Iraq.

Tony would be great at the job. However, since his bout with cancer I wouldn't think it would be worth it. Life is too short to have to put up with the crap a Republican press secretary has to take. IMHO Tony would be better off taking time to be with his family and smelling the roses. Not eating the sh*t the MSM wh*res dish out every day to the White House press secretary.

Just think though, he could take his kids to Texas during Bush's August vacation....there are some neat things in Texas...
I certainly won't be surprised if he turns it down, just for the reason you stated...but, just the idea of driving David Gregory and Chrissy Matthews crazy, is just TOO delicious!! LOL

LOL! That should be a sure bet. Now, this Tony Snow as Press Secretary is most intriguing. I hope he seriously considers it. Tony is quick on his feet, very polite, but makes his point known. Plus has a sense of humor. And believe me, a sense of humor is a necessary component for that job. One has to finesse those jackals and play their game better than they do. Mr. Snow is fully capable of that. Whatever he decides, the honor of having been asked is indeed great.
Ari was great but Tony has a different style.
I think he would be very effective and I sent him as email urging him to give the job prayerful consideration because his country and the President need his journalist and communications skills!
