Tony Snow offered White House Job

Heard on the John Gibson radio program

I just heard on the John Gibson radio program that Tony Snow has been offered McClellan's job at the White House. He has not made a decision but will discuss it on his radio program tomorrow.

I didn't see this posted. Just posting what I heard. No link.

If you can afford to take the next 2.5 years to go to the White House and put up with the daily grind, I would take it. From seeing you on TV and listening to you on the radio, I know that you would be absolutely awesome. However, I don't know about your personal situation. If you can, we all would love it if you would take the job. If you can not, we would be a little disappointed, but would be completely understanding as family and health come first.

You would make the perfect White House press spokesman. You are the type of person who can tell you to go to hell in such a way that you actually look forward to the trip. Just watching you deal with David Gregory and Helen Thomas on a daily basis would be reason enough to tune in to C-SPAN.

I don't know anything about Tony's job resume, does he have previous experience like Laura Ingraham did with Ronald Reagan? (I could be wrong about Laura, that is what I have heard)
