Ohio State University officials on Friday cleared Scott Savage, a librarian at the Mansfield campus, of harassment charges filed against him based on his recommendation of an anti-gay book for a freshman reading assignment. A conservative group had threatened to sue the university if the charges were not dropped. They were dropped the same day that the group went public with its complaints about the way the librarian was being treated.
Cockroaches can't stand the light.
Liberals can't stand the truth.
Apologies to the cockroaches.
In recommending a source to a student for a research project the student is doing, who, precisely, did this library staff member harrass?
OK, it wasn't a specific student, but a recommendation for inclusion on a reading list, but my question still stands.
It was a general reading list given to incoming freshmen, IIRC. The people protesting were faculty whiners.
So, just how big a target was He?? He is a quaker, conservative, and HE DRIVES A HORSE AND BUGGY to campus. His crime? Adding four conservative books to counteract the many liberal books already on it. Sheeeeesh
That was quick. They might think twice before pulling this Gestapo crap again.

The continuing saga -reality versus delusion.
According to the left -everything reality based and or anyone that opposes the homosexualization of society or opposes homosexual activity is "anti-gay".
Newsflash -biology is "anti-gay". LOL
Several faculty members felt "threatened" by his recommendations. I saw an earlier thread that I will attempt to locate and ping you to with more information. As I recall, one of the books was by David Horowitz.
Conservative books on a reading list are "threatening". Unfreakingbelievable!!
What is this college going to do about the so-called "threatened" parties? I think sanctions for filing a bogus complaint are in order.
Let the book burnings begin.
Good news ping
