Just now listenginto Sen. Mitch McConnell, he is literally man handling Chrissy Dodd, what a wuss. I didn't know it but McConnell was down her with Kit Bond last week. They both left town with excellent reps as good guys from those who dealt with them.

The only "abuse" Rummy ever heaped on Batiste was kicking him out of his cushy Pentagon office and into the field.

I laughed outloud when a newsreader quoted one of these grumpy "generals" as saying that Rumsfeld "lacked leadership skills". LOL! What a fool.

That was General John Batiste, the new CEO of Klein Steel, which is one of Rochester's top 100 firms and employs 115 people. None of these disgruntled generals have ever held the leadership positions that Rumsfeld has in both the public and private sectors. The very fact that these jerks criticize his management and leadership skills speaks volumes about them.

Success Home Grown for Klein Steel

Rumsfeld resume

About "politization of the military, CIA, and the diplomatic corps"

I agree with kabar's point, but might modify the above to "politization of the Pentagon bureaucracy and senior officers, CIA, and the diplomatic corps."  Would that be more accurate?

I've seen nothing to indicate that the ranks are being politicized.  But the folks in the offices with the funny angles?  Just look at all of the "political komisars" that got promoted by the Klintons.

I almost puked when I hear the former commander of the Big Red 1 whine that Rummy "is too abusive" on the Today show Thurday.

Did he flash his "Time Out" card?

So only the Catholic Church can lay true claim

Well, that is a loaded question. LOL!!

The Catholic and Orthodox both DO lay claim. (Protestant denominations have different takes.) The Catholic Church recognizes the Orthodox succession. The Orthodox do not (generally) recognize Catholics'. Very complicated business, this is. And has generated many a knock down, drag out on this board.

the next South Park

All I know about that is what I read on the board. Never watched it. Hope I never will. Irreverence may have it's place in pop culture. But, it does nothing for me.

Yes, McConnel laughed out loud at Dodd, which I really enjoyed. He made fun of him when Dodd said we "outsourced" iran negotiations. McConnel laughed about that and put Dodd in his place big-time by reminding him they criticized the US aboutbeing unilateral in Iraq and not being unilateral with Iran. I enjoyed McConnel's appearance today.

Sorry don't mean too. I just don't subscribe that salvation comes only by organized religion.

I don't know of any church that completely follows the Bible today.
