Sorry to hear that. Oh well... Time has a way of making things happen so you'll just have to be patient.

In Chicago today for a wedding yesterday. How do people stand it here? If the weather isn't bad enough, the driving is horrible. Being from out of town, I'm convinced these people are trying to kill me!

Using American was not as bad or crowded as Continental or United, by the way.  Plenty of room on the plane.

Typical MSM. They bashed Brown of FEMA till he resigned.

Then they praised Brown for his brilliance because he was willing to bash the administration.

MSM back to bashing Brown because a New Orleans Parrish wanted to hire him for hurricane advice.

If we pay attention to the MSM we'll never know the truth of what is going on anywhere.

Hey at least you go fishing! All I do is talk about it or write about it!

Last week my buddy went fishing with some friends from Rhode Island. They caught a 7 lb. jack crevalle and used him for bait.

Using the seven lb. jack for bait they caught a 250 lb. Golden grouper(aka,Jewfish or Goliath Grouper).

Meanwhile I am still back at the dock wishin' I was fishin'.

Good quote from Gingrich: "Rumsfeld listens to generals; he doesn't obey them."

Yup, out here, too. Missouri just legalized "Noodling" again, the art of reaching up under cut banks and yanking catfish out!

Newt Gingrich is his old self today - explaining very well the truth about the generals, Rumsfeld, civilian authority of our military, and what really happened in the Afghanistan campaign = special forces and air power instead of the six Divisions that other generals recommended.

Thanks samantha,

Interesting evening yesterday. How does one tell the step-mother of the groom she's an idiot? She is convinced Clinton was a good president. Favorite candidates on the horizon for her and father of the groom are McCain and Hillary. Ugh.... (Really tried my patience and tactfulness, that's for sure.)

MacArthur.

It drives me nuts this discussion. The party who are now "praising" these generals, are the same party that trashed our military, calling them torturers while these generals were in "command".

Great hot sheet tips this Am. I hope that GE cuts their losses with NBC, and also learns to make better Side by Side Refrigerators. I remember when we used to rely on GE for good products. Past Tense, really past tense. Viveva is probably bailing out of a sinking ship. I hope Glenn Beck replaces Larry King just so everyday CNN watchers can see what a Conservative looks and sounds like instead of the Idiot Tucker Carlson types. We need to keep up the good work at dumping subscriptions and stop watching the MSM,they are going down...

Monday is Patriots Day in Massachusetts honoring the Militia who mobilized against the British marching into Lexington and Concord.

The part about Haiti I liked was Clinton having US Marines turn around and come home because of a few hundred thugs on the docks were waving clubs at them and taunting them.

Yep, that Clinton was a piece of work. Commander in Chief is NOT a good word to describe Democrat military leadership.

Wish General Franks would make more appearances. He made an excellent defense of the decision to push forward into Baghdad without stopping to capture or kill the Iraqi soldiers along the way.

His point was that if they stopped the enemy would have had a chance to form around Baghdad and the city would not have fallen without a terrible battle.
