Click for our National Anthem! (remove your caps please!)
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream: 'T is the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation; Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us as a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust" And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Hi, Ma!
Good looking cofee and doughnuts.
I found the photo at another site, where someone commented on the baby Bobcat's large paws.
The Haiku kind of wrote itself.
Jack.

OK kids, since it's a Saturday, how about a look at:
Seventies Saturday Mornings!
Star Trek The Animated Series
This well-written follow-up to the original Star Trek aired on NBC in 1973. It was produced by Gene Roddenberry and D.C. Fontana, and as a result showed a great deal of respect for the original show and the fans with high-quality stories. Since it was animated, the show could feature more alien characters and exotic alien planets than live-action TV could have in those days before computer-generated characters.
Return to the Planet of the Apes
This animated entry into the Apes canon aired on NBC from 1975 to 1976. Three astronauts, Bill, Jeff, and Judy are thrown into the year 3979 and find the world run by apes. Unlike the movies, the apes here were allowed to have a tehcnologically advanced civilization (or at least one that resembled 1940's Earth) complete with cars, movie theaters, television, and newspapers. Although the show was well-written, it suffered from poor Filmation animation.
Land of the Lost
From the wonderfully demented minds of Syd and Marty Kroft came this far-out show which aired on NBC from 1973 to 1978. Ranger Rick Marshall and his kids are caught in some kind of a time warp and sent to a prehistoric land where dinosaurs rule. They encounter various characters from other times and places while trying to find their own way home. Along the way, they befriend Cha-Ka, a midget ape-man, and Enik, the last survivor of an intelligent reptillian race. Various science fiction writers contributed to the show, making it one of the more intelligent live-action shows on Saturday morning.
