Shep Smith Belongs On CNN
FOX News

Posted on 04/14/2006 12:29:31 PM PDT by davidtalker

This guy is on there now talking down the war effort. Talking down Rummy. Telling his guest (General) "this Administration wants Americans to believe Saddam was responsible for 9/11." This guy is so transparent. He's better off in "The Situation Room" with Blitzer and Cafferty. Touting the six retired Officers calling for Rummy's head. Shep is just trashing the effort. Drama Queen.

"OK - could you summarize why you believe that way? Just curious. Thanks."

I agree with Secretary Rumsfeld about the effectiveness of our public relations.

We need, in my opinion, to focus on the positive - the positive results in Iraq establishing deocracy, feeding people, building schools and eliminating the torture and executions under Saddam. I think the President has hit the right tone on this but has not had full support. Continuing efforts to blame Saddam for 9/11 are not effective and therefore need to be deemphasized.

All the gay producers at CNN have boyfriends already, he'll have to wait in line with the other pretty faces. :P

Shep sucks. He is a leftist weenie. His whining about the poor folks in New Orleans was enough to make me sick.

I never watch him anymore. After Brit is over, I turn the channel to watch the History Channel.

How disrespectful. What if you were watching television and that was your mom or dad, Shep?

Vulture.

He has gotten worse since he became such a "star" during the Katrina story

He was an embarrassment to the idea of reporting. He is a big part of the reason that the MSM can keep saying that Bush failed re Katrina, when he did nothing of the kind.

Barney the Purple Dinosaur could deliver the news better than Shep.

Glad to see this thread, I emailed him about his screech "there were no wmd's" with lots of links to the docs. etc that showed different....His 1 sentence response:

"The White House and the Pentagon now confirm there were no WMDs in Iraq during the run up to the war or the war itself.
There were no WMD

I replied asking for source, no reply from him yet today. Also sent more links, and ended my msg with:

Just like I suspected, you get your news from the New York Times (heard you quote them)...it's sad that you do no research of your own before you get on the air and screech your um "news"

S Smith...Just a NYTimes "news reader" on Fox??

HINT for anyone sending email...CC msgs to Bret Hume at Special@foxnews.com worked for me..lol

Truth is truth.

Let smith go.

I remember him reading some BS news story about how DMA's were going to hurt cohabiting heterosexual couples.

CNN, NYT do not waste time trying to pretend to be balanced. They argue ALL left wingers is balance.

Let FNC be a beacon better reporting.

I was watching him today and that was my first thought: He belongs on CNN. But while watching him last night, my first thought was: He's drunk.

Ok. I don't see why we can't do both but that's kind of quibbling. Anyway, thanks. I wasn't sure what the VP had said.

Have you noticed that he can't read any news story without stumbling over his tongue and making a half a dozen mistakes? Even the easiest words trip him up. And his comments leading into the "G-Block" are nonsensical. Why does Fox keep him?

I hope it's not Paul Gigot's program that gets the axe. I find that program to be very informative. I'd rather not watch a roundtable program where there are a bunch of nincompoop's screaming over one another and talking at the same time.

Makes me sick knowing that.  At least Rush blamed the local and state officials because it was their primary responsibility. The federal government steps in when the local and state officials are overwhelmed.
