I agree with Secretary Rumsfeld about the effectiveness of our public relations.
We need, in my opinion, to focus on the positive - the positive results in Iraq establishing deocracy, feeding people, building schools and eliminating the torture and executions under Saddam. I think the President has hit the right tone on this but has not had full support. Continuing efforts to blame Saddam for 9/11 are not effective and therefore need to be deemphasized.
Ok. I don't see why we can't do both but that's kind of quibbling. Anyway, thanks. I wasn't sure what the VP had said.
