"This is another nail in the lid of the coffin of the idea that saddam was safely in the Sanction BOx....(must be a better analogy but I am not a writer and this is a War with Lots of Coffins....might as well throw some misguided ideas into the coffins ) Where are the grumbling Generals on this one....?"
You get the point across ok. Your analogy is quite appropriate. As to the grumbling generals. Their to busy grumbling. ha ha. No one should think Rummy was not a tough dog to deal with. He was brought in to start streamlining the military to some degree. Never an easy task. Then 9/11 came our way. Probably from his first day in office he pisse d off some of these guys, and as a result they held a grudge which is now being played out.

Somewhere in that roundtable discussion, someone perhaps Fred brought up the fact that the major reorganization was done on the Army, many generals wanted their million man army and Bush and Rumsfeld wanted an army of half that size, but some of the major complaints are coming from Marine guys, Zunni seems to be very active in calling around.....

Myers told Jim Angle that he didn't understand what all the complaining was about but thought it was very damaging....undermines the traditional civilian control of the Military....

Your feedback is indicative of what I meant by some of them getting fizzed off early in the SoD change over.
Some, probably, mostly army generals would not want to hear of any reduction in forces in the way of manpower. Others across the board probably realized things they may have been responsible for putting in place now where on the chopping block. Others yet, would perhaps lost future positions in civilian life, as their pet projects may have been put up for review.
Perhaps most where honest players and brokers in what they believed should be retained.
One thing I think that is fair to say, is that Rummy came in with the goal of streamlining (dropping projects/weapon systems), where new promising technologies would make up for any deficit in dropped items.
So for all we know, some of these guys might have simply got on his bad side prior to the Iraqi war being planned out, and they keep the grudge going, in how the reacted to any suggestions brought forth. Surely we are only hearing from a very few generals currently, that want Rummy dumped. And the L/MSM is milking it for all they can. Keep them on evening news and talk shows, make it look like dozens of generals and admirals where opposed to how Rummy carried out his duties. Tell a lie long enough, and many start to believe tactics.

***Russian Aeroglob Company*** This is a company in Russia; however, does that equate to the Russian Executive Office of the Presidency? Did they sell on their own initiative?

Is there any question that the Russian Gov didn't know where Mig parts were going

I hate to say it,but they may have a point about the manpower size. The way things are looking,we may need one much larger than what we have now.Current events are not looking good.We may have the fancy toys, but we still need someone to operate it.Our so called'allies'have been up to some nefarious deeds as of late.

"I have come to believe you."

I hope you understand how I meant that. I feel President Bush is in complete control, poker player style! His having Condi Rice close convinces me of that. He understands Putin, and whatever he was involved with, President Bush knew. It was a way of putting Putin on notice in front of the whole world.

Russian scientists in Iraq hide during surprise U.N. inspection

Iraqi efforts to monitor a U.N. inspection team, break into their personal briefcases (actually says it was complained about but not that they did it), and hide Russian and Turkish scientists. As usual, the parentheses are the translators. (PDF)CMPC-2003-000776

Armos Trading Co. was a front company in Iraq. They worked with Rosoboronexport State Corporation, the sole state intermediary agency for Russia's exports/imports of defense–related and dual use products, technologies and services. The company of course denies it. This company sells night vision equipment, along with MIG parts, planes, etc.

Statement on the agency's website:
The official status of Rosoboronexport secures the guaranteed support of the Russian Government in all export operations.

Guess who was named in the CIA Oil-for-Food report?
