The ACLU is a bastion of hypocrisy. I like how they do whatever they can to silence the free speech of others, but then refuse to put any limit on their own free speech.

The fastest way to upset an ACLU supporter? "You're so angry and unhappy. Being an atheist must be miserable. I'll pray for you."

A civil liberties group is challenging part of a new state law after an attorney was told he wouldnt be assigned court-appointed cases unless he signed a questionnaire stating he is not a terrorist and does not support terrorism. So the ACLU thinks it would be OK for terrorists to decide Americans fate? Wouldn't all terrorist lawyers fight to behead everyone they bring before the court? The crime would be being an American!
Man, that ACLU is one loony organization.
To: Jay777
Note to ACLU:
Supporting a terrorist organization is not free speech.
Free speech would be more along the lines of, say, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

If the ACLU had to take the oath, they would have to stop 90% of their activility (if they were honest, of course!)
To: concerned about politics
Let us do better, make the law a federal law requiring all states to follow.

I have, long ago, decided that the ACLU has nothing to do with being American or our civil liberties. They should be sued for false advertising.
To: Jay777
Now, how silly are these people? The ACLU has lost its moral compass and fallen out of step - looking sillier and sillier every time they come up with something like this.
To: Jay777
"It isnt difficult to understand why the ACLU would object to such terms, after all they are defending numerous terrorists, including an individual that participated in a 15-year conspiracy to finance the group Hamas, laundering millions of dollars, some of which went to buy weapons. With the help of CAIR, they are also defending an admitted agent of Al Qaeda that has confessed to attending jihad camps in Afghanistan, and is being charged with lying to the FBI about his terror ties and activities."
Isn't the ACLU just the best...
And why do we keep them here?
To: Jay777
The ACLU is willing to accept public funds but not to take an oath of loyalty to this country. I guess that makes sense... rights without responsibilities. It is after all the ACLU's
raison d'etre.

We all know the ACLU is out of control. What in the world can be done? Seems like nothing.

After looking at the jpg you can figure out why they don't like the oath.
