My daughter is transferring over to OSU this fall. But she might be more conservative than Ann Coulter. God help them.

saying that the book suggestions made them feel unsafe." You know, when other peoples ideas and worldviews make one feel unsafe...its time to take a look at the ideas you hold. Are leftist ideas so tenuous that a challenge to them induces fear?
Funny thing is, whenever I am confronted with leftist ideas, I usually smile because it makes me feel so doggone smart.

Names!
We need the names of these poor profs who feel "unsafe".
NOW they really do have reason to fear -- Like cockroaches when the light comes on.
But we need to find those names.

In effect, they have completely dropped the pretension that their sexual-harrassment rules are all about protecting people from, well... sexual harassment. They are using it quite blatantly as a blunt instrument against dissent.
You are correct...but did you expect a different outcome?

This is pathetic, and something I would expect from the U of Michigan.

I just thought they'd be more slippery about it... like, you know, find some words or action they could spin into "harrassment"... but that would take W-O-R-K!

I really can't believe this...blows my mind. I hope this guy can get the attention of some conservative think tanks and/or media and put the spotlight on this garbage of a university. Maybe some conservative group could use this as a test case and finance his legal bills, thereby putting the fear of God into these despicable Marxists.
He should sue for damages.

I have the Santorum book, but now I intend on reading all of them. They will go at the top of my reading list.
Maybe some of these college students will finally get a clue, become curious and start doing some reading/investigating/thinking of their own.
