WILL SHE BE IMPEACHED?

ABC is preparing to dismiss the first female president of The United States -- after less than a year on the job!
While it is not clear if the country is ready for a woman to take the title of COMMANDER IN CHIEF, TV executives at ABC have all but decided to pull the plug on the breakthrough drama, top sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
"No one here will say publicly that it's over [for the show]," a well-placed insider said this week from Los Angeles. 'But it is over."
The program returns this evening after a long recess -- with the president's husband groping an intern!
ABC suits will not renew COMMANDER unless audience levels can hold a 15 share, a source claims. The show crashed from a high of nearly 17 million viewers for its second episode to 10.4 million for its last, Jan. 24.
Geena Davis as President Mackenzie was launched with much fanfare and topical news crossover:
A search of the NEXIS database shows 918 press stories containing the terms "Geena Davis" and "Hillary Clinton."
"On 'COMMANDER IN CHIEF,' art can now imitate life," cheered the SAINT PAUL PIONEER PRESS.
But at season's end, the New York senator's handlers are surely hoping that real life does not imitate the art.
Hmmmmm...I don't think I'd notice that. I usually say "oh", but I've heard "zero" and say it occasionally Is one correct?
Never watched it, flipped by it a few times.
I got the distinct impression that they had deliberately frumped-up Geena Davis to more closely resemble Hillary.
I have never seen her looking as bad as she does on this show.
NBC tends to kill military related shows after a single season.
Maybe it changes from service to service? USCG has always used "oh" not "zero." Even Dear Hubby hoots when they say "zero."
It actually had pretty good ratings--so this hiatus has be something besides ratings.
What did Austin Powers say? "That's a man, baby!"
I saw a promo for this show the other day, and my first thought was, "That show's still on??" Not that I ever bothered to watch it.
Me too. I saw the preview the other night for tonight's episode and thought to myself, "I haven't seen a preview in awhile. I thought they canceled it."
I liked Davis in the Long Kiss Goodnight, a classic.
Yes I remember it.... Dan Dailey as the Governor.
Now that episode would get ratings through the roof.
Kinda disappointed in 24 making the President the bad guy. Weak, vacillating, and unsure, okay, but actively evil?
Wow --- what an absolutely boring series, with arrogance added in.
We have a president who mothers her staff by reprimanding them for running in the hall. UGH.
And don't get me started on the "first family". An arrogant first husband who calls Air Force One "OUR PLANE" and is pissed that the republican speaker is on THEIR PLANE. Gag !!
The kids ---- boring, snotty and unreal.
Add all that to the fact that president Geena (I think the name is mac or something) always solves every problem, makes this series way too stupid to spend any more time on it.
Just my 2 cents from someone who did watch, mainly to see what they were going to come up with, but was also disappointed 'cuz this series could have been done very well.
actually, I think a show about a liberal president & administration would be a hit - IF it was true-to-life. Sex with interns, corruption - rank hypocrisy on almost any issue, money & power before honor or issues - double-dealing with wacko liberal activists. Give me a team of good writers & I guarantee we would pull more than a 15 share.
"I'll take an American version of Maggie Thatcher any day"
So would I, but there was only one "Iron Lady"! I certainly don't see any American equivalent on the horizon!
everyone remember how the media HYPED this show. I don't even own a TV and I remember it was on raidio, internet, print media.... Just goes to show that all the media in the world can not suck people into a sucky show...
