POLITICAL directors of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany will meet in Moscow next Wednesday to discuss the Iranian nuclear crisis, China's UN envoy said today.
Wang Guangya said he had been told by Beijing that the meeting would bring together senior officials from Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States in the Russian capital.
When you have nuclear bombs like France you get some consideration as being somewhat important.
I hope we have a plan to get those bombs before the Muslims do if France Falls to Islam. - tom
This is such a joke. We will go there and Russia / China will sing the same old song of "diplomacy forever." "Oh, ignore the mushroom cloud where Isreal used to be - nothing to see there."
Meanwhile, Iran is laughing at us!
Why shouldnt they? Since they know Russia and China will defend them to the bitter end, no matter how many rules they break, placing their own personal interests ahead of what is right and wrong, that will continue.
But, "The PRC is not known for being reactionary"?
C'mon. Give me a break here. I assume you mean on the global stage and not domestically.
Anyway, off to bed.
It says "major" powers... what's France doing there?
You'd figure both Pakistan and India deserve to be called "major powers" before France. France can't even rule itself.
Russia play both sides of every coin. Heads they win. Tails they win.
They probably were also seduced by the Mullahs who promised them the use of a warm port.
Yikes. That last sentence almost freaked me out as much as the 'Dancing with Radiation' performance.
They will agree to meet again next year to discuss the problem further
You mean put off the problem even further.
