If this isn't an admission of guilt I don't know what it.

Apparently, Mark Geragos and David Kendall were unavailable.

Just because they hired Bob Bennett doesn't mean they're guilty. It just means somebody's daddy has enough money to afford to pay for a high-profile defense attorney.

The DA has signaled he's ready to go to the mattresses over this case, and those boys need to be ready for a messy, highly-publicized, nationwide case, with racial and class sensitivities and 'activists' involved pushing this case. They need someone with a good record of defending their clients (both innocent and guilty) and someone used to media frenzy.

Are you out of your mind???? The DA stated that even tho the results of the DNA tests on the 3 students alleged to have been involved in the rape proved negative, 75% of all assaults can not be substantiated by DNA.

If the alleged assault was allegedly committed by 3 individuals, then by his own admission, ONE OF THEM SHOULD HAVE TESTED POSITIVE! AND THEY DID NOT!!!!!

And you sit here and try to tell the rest of us that by hiring an attorney to fight this obvious case of societal extortion is an admission of guilt????

You're on the wrong forum pal!

Can you explain how retaining competent legal counsel is an admission of guilt?

Your apparently don't know what is.....this is a high profile case where if you don't have a sharp lawyer...you can be hung out to dry.. I suspect the boys hired a stripper who agreed to do a few tricks for X dollars....they being drunk, as well as at the age everytime they blink their eyes get an erection....were highly upset that she showed up drunk....and then they knew that suing for "specific performance" probably wouldn't do much good. I am amazed by the folks on this forum who suggest suing the women for defamation of character or like charges.....wake up...what the hell good would that do...she wouldn't be doing what she was doing if she had any money. All that said....she may be a good girl and I hope she comes clean and admits what anyone with half a brain has figured out is the truth..

LOL!!!!....just when most of us were sure of their "innocence" they go ahead and get a Clinton CYA lawyer......

but realistically, a show of force needs to be evident....it worked in the Bryant case......
