What's the reaction to all this in your neighborhoods? The Congresscritters had better remember that Americans riot at the ballot box, not the street waving flags.

Unfortunately, the idiots in DC are salivating at all of the "future voters" they see in the streets... the rest of us be damned.

The GOP will DEFINITELY be seeing my riot at the ballot box in Nov. if they fsck this up. I want these illegal morons OUT of my country. I want that fence put up. If they can't figure out that they're not welcome here, perhaps they should learn English?

The reaction in my small corner of Pennsylvania is that federal immigration officers, backed by state and local police, should have been on hand with buses at every rally to load 'em up and ship 'em all home.
To: GOPGuide
Rallies ALWAYS cause a backlash effect even when supported by majority feeling. Even those rallies from the days of the Civil Rights movements caused backlashes that are still felt today. One should always seek to persuade, not impose. The only thing that will hurt worse than all those immigration rallies, will be when Conservatives start doing it too. A sure way to lose the momentum.

That was exactly the response I had--and I was a fence-sitter for illegal immigration for a long time.
After seeing these "demonstrations" I want the border closed, NOW.

All I ask of the GOP house is: let the voters decide in November. Don't pass any bill before letting us vote. If the Hispanic voters speak loudest and give the House to the Democrats, then amnesty will pass. But at least go down fighting in the trenches, for core Republican values. Campaign in favor of tough enforcement. You might just be surprised how many people agree with you.

Major league ticked off, shorts in a knot, Excedrin migraine, anger...
People don't care if someone comes here legally, but the idea that we have to have open borders and absorb Mexico which, btw, Forbes Magazine states has sent up 30% of their peasant workers is the stuff of citizen Revolutions.
I may be French descent, but my people were the rabble, not the elite. It's in the genes.

Yeah keep waving that MEXICAN FLAG and DEMAND RIGHTS!
I say, throw em out. Let em get in line LEGALLY. do background checks and then decide - do we want this person?

Now all these protesting clowns have to do is stage another rally and wave American flags. All will be forgiven.

I suspect that it's too late for letters and phone calls at this stage.
The pussies on the Hill have seen these pictures and they're not nearly bright enough to understand that these people DON'T and WON'T vote for them.
But they'll dream about all the votes, ignore their own base, and water down the House version.
Just wait until they get a few million mulsims marching in the streets for Sharia type laws. congress and Pres will crumble then as well.

A critic on TV observed that
if citizens don't wake up now reality will set in fully in about 20 years. The southwest will for a practical purposes be an annex of Mexico. Then, the next step, with the power they will yield will be for SEPARIST demands. Remember QUEBEC?
As added emphasis to his point, Krauthammer yesterday said the recent demonstrations is the movements 'COMING OUT PARTY' and the implications of power simmering below the surface.
With commie groups behind some of these protests should be warning enough in itself!

You just haven't lived until you have to clean up your yard after 500 of them decided in the middle of the night to use it as a toilet...
Imagine having to do this every day...plus take care of your own farm or go to work daily...
Of course if your place of work hires them and fires you then you will have some free time to clean up after them...until one of them wins your farm in court because he or she fell down in some other illegal alien's scat you neglected to clean up...

People I know, even those who are normally apolitical, are apoplectic at the thought of an amnesty. I don't know anyone who thinks amnesty and open borders are good ideas. I'm also noticing a lot more American flags flying in my neighborhood and on cars.
