Donate a 8" block and ship it to DC and you are in.

Do you realize how cool it would be if every person p*ssed off about this sh*t (illegal Aliens/wide open borders) actually shipped a cinderblock to the capitol? just a thought

After some quick and sketchy research....it looks like it would cost around $10.00 to send one brick via USPS. A cinderblock would be cool but expensive.

1000's of bricks showing up in the capitol mailroom would be fricken awesome!

More to come and how you can get in on this great idea!

Found this over on ARFCOM. The guys are setting this one up right now. They have SENDABRICK.com registered and are in the process of getting the website up and running.

Most of us have jobs and family commitments. We can't go out and fill the streets like the illegals and their communist enablers seem to be able to do.

This would be a heck of a lot more effective than fax's and letters. These can't be shredded and it is hard to ignore a few thousand bricks getting dumped into your In Box.

I'm in for 3. One for each member of my immediate family.

I've got Websense at work, and when I clicked the link, this is what I got:

Reason: The Websense category "Weapons" is filtered.

LOL

What about sending a gun lock or trigger lock to DC instead? They are much smaller and postage won't nearly be as much as a cinderblock, and they get the message across better too.

If they get 4,000,000 trigger locks, well you can do the math...

I like this Idea!

Hope Send-A-Brick would do the following:

1) Offer the ability to submit a brief statement to your Senator/CongressCritter in the form of a Letter.

2) Shrink wrap the letter to the inside of the brick, with the text showing outward.

3) Mail it.

This way, it legally becomes a letter that the Postal Service must deliver, and can't(or shouldn't) be tossed along the way by Liberal USPS employees.

Knowing how the USPS works, someone will probably steal the bricks to build his/her patio deck! Only in America!

AR15.com? Home of the Black Rifle?

This thing is just now taking off. Literally being put together as we type.

You do know the mail doesn't reach the Capitol until after it's been screened, right?

I'm in for $100...I think I would rather send ten bags of fecal matter but bricks will do.

They would just direct the USPS and UPS to send the bricks to a different location. It would be a major inconvience for the little people and thousands of USPS employees would be off indefinitely with back injuries. The blocks we need to send away are on the shoulders of those already in DC.

The whole idea is to send them the message to "build the wall, we'll help you get started."

Sending weapons related stuff might be a REALLY bad idea. We did that once back when they were considering nation wide mandatory trigger lock BS.

A few tons of brick showing up in the mail room would get their attention though.

Who the hell is "they"...and how would they know what they're getting, given our gifts would be coming from thousands of addresses.

Your response makes me want to hurl...maybe even a projile-level hurl!

"A few tons of brick showing up in the mail room would get their attention though."

Not really. All packages are examined very carefully, for obvious reasons. Very shortly, the plan would be discovered, and the intended recipients would never see the packages.

A well-written letter would be a far better idea. And I don't mean some cut-and-paste job from some web site. If you want to influence a legislator, you need to write the letter yourself, and you need to be a constituent.

This brick thing is just a prank, and will be completely ignored.
