Operation Thank You has another unit deserving your support. This Unit is the Second Battalion of the 20th Special Forces Group, officially based at Bagram Air Base Northwest of Kabul, Afghanistan.
Once again, they would welcome cards and letters showing your support. Care packages also more than welcome.
BTTT
Troop support bump.
This is a great program. I sent DVDs, socks, and cigars to the first two units and got very nice e-mails from them, along with descriptions of their activities (well, very generically) there. A great opportunity to say Thank You! to our very courageous military.
Thanks!
The Merry Band of Patriots here at FR are losing our contact at Bagram as they return stateside.
I'll write the SGT and see if he can find a special forces unit in Afghanistan for us to adopt.
We currently have adopted units at Mosul, Rawah and Tal Afar in Iraq. Our units at Kirkuk and Baghdad are going home also.
Appreciate your getting the word out.
Cheers!
Patty
We ask for divine protection for all of our troops serving in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Care package will be sent (lots of goodies the SF guys will like)
I'm not sure where to post this, but I just got back from the post office. I sent a package to SGM Benjamin T. Lee: paperbacks, candy, gum, mints, potato chips, deck of cards, hand lotion, deodorant, razors, wipes, dental floss, Gold Bond powder, etc.
Thanks, American troops! We luv ya!
