A conservative advocacy group is speaking for Americans who think illegal immigration is out of control and ought to be stopped.
The Freedom Alliance, founded by Lt.-Col. Oliver North, said it is launching a movement called the "I'm Mad as Hell and I'm Not Gonna Take it Anymore!" coalition.
The group is asking concerned Americans to call, email and fax congressional offices with objections to amnesty for people who come to this country illegally.
"Senator Reid won't take immigration seriously until illegal immigrants begin invading Capitol Hill or his cushy office," said Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon. "His wavering on the immigration bill shows why he is the minority party leader; he isn't listening to the majority of Americans."
Freedom Alliance analyst John Dougherty said it's ironic that protestors are demanding rights for illegals in the United States that illegals don't have in Mexico.
According to an official translation published by the Organization of American States, the Mexican constitution does not allow foreigners to participate in the political affairs of the country. That ban applies to participation in demonstrations.
In Mexico, even legal immigrants don't have equal employment rights; and the Mexican constitution also says that foreigners -- not just illegal immigrants -- may be expelled from the country for any reason and without due process.
While Mexico does nothing to stop the flow of its citizens to the United States, Mexican lawmakers clearly have put their own people first when it comes to immigration and foreign labor law, Dougherty said.
"For once, American lawmakers can follow the lead of their counterparts south of the border. They should adopt the same laws," he added.
The Freedom Alliance describes its mission as honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense.
If that's the case, then we (citizens and our elected officials) will have to either stop it now or else give in to their demands and admit that mob rule trumps the rule of law. Caving in to what amounts to extortion perpetrated by people who are already breaking the law is not a very appealing option.
Even now, should something go wrong at one of these rallies, the 'local' police would be absolutely helpless to stop them.
Yes, and that's not something I'd want to see happen.
Lately, I'm reminded of that phrase (curse?) "may you live in interesting times". This is one big cluster mess.

How Far Would You Get IF You Try Doing This...
a.. Try driving around as a Gringo in Mexico with no liability Insurance.. And have an accident...
b. Enter MEXICO illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas, International law, or any of that nonsense.
c.. Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical Care for you and your entire family.
d.. Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.
e.. Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc.
f.. Procreate abundantly Deflect any criticism of this allegedly Irresponsible reproductive behavior with, "It is a cultural United States Thing. You would not understand, pal."
g.. Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your Rooftop, or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.
h.. Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your Children do likewise.
i.. Insist that all products' labels, owner's manuals, instructions, Etc., be written in English as well as Spanish.
j.. Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.
k.. Demand a local Mexican drivers license. This will afford other Legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal Presence in Mexico.
l.. Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its Officers.
Good luck! Because it will never happen. It will not happen in Mexico or Any other country in the world... Except right here in the United States... Land of the naive! AND THE STUPID If you agree, pass it on. If you don't, go ahead and try the above in Mexico or Iran, or just about any other country in the world, for that Matter.

1. Build a barrier....that works on the southern border.
2. Require every employee and every individual getting services/$$ (hospital, Soc. Sec. Medicare, Food Stamps, etc.) provide a certifiable BIRTH CERTIFICATE of birth in America.
3. FINE Employers who have ILLEGALS working for them - $5K per day, per ILLEGAL...
4.Institute a 50% tax on all funds- money order, wire, electronic fund transfer, cash ALL of them- on U.S. dollars sent to Mexico. Such funds from the US constitute Mexico's 3rd largest source of national income. Then, until Mexico closes the people pipeline north, the dollar pipeline south stays shut. If 50% doesn't do the job, increase as needed.
The Mexicans play the game just a bit harder than that on their own southern border, in Chiapas.

Then don't vote at all. If you actually believe Republicans in Congress are committing treason (which is absurd but your belief nonetheless) then the dems are committing greater treason. By that emotion you are paralyzed and unable to vote. You should stay home.
I will vote, but I will leave alot of blanks. I will vote for those that even have a wiff of conservative left in them, such as Kay Bailey. If these usurpers get amnesty and the vote, it won't matter anyway. You are merely arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
