Welcome back all concerned!
Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegals? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Lets roll.
Do you think we can find a few of these illegal immigrants willing to put in 3000 hours EACH of UNPAID community service to any community in America every four years?
That kind of guy, I would love to have as a Naturalized American Citizen.
Thank you for your service to America.
In the event that no one has yet said it.....Keep your powder dry.

"Although President Bush insists his proposal does not include amnesty, Jones said he thinks it does - because it would make illegal aliens who work in the U.S. for a number of years eligible for legal status and citizenship. That is de facto amnesty," President Bush has kissed his credibility goodbye, where Illegal Aliens are concerned"

You make a good point Tokra but a temporary loss of the House and Senate may be the only way to get in true Conservatives. We have to target and vote out the RINOs in order to vote in the people we want. I just don't see any other way. Who knows. We may just get in a few good third party candidates along the way.
As a primary language, English should certainly be it, and nobody is going to make very much progress in America unless they know English.
But ethnics have spoken Italian, Polish, Chinese, Vietnamese and Spanish as second languages since immigrants have come to this country. Surely Teddy Roosevelt would not have objected to that.

I think ALL ballots should be in English only.
Please keep it and use it often.
The first element?
Islam, a Religion of Peace®? ( links, blogs, quips, quotes, aggravating pictures ) is located here- click the Pic, and scroll backwards:
The other, somewhat interlocking element is this one:
"Thunder on the Border," click the picture:
Note, and note well--that the infamous"Mexican Flag Superior, American in Distress" is in the upper left corner...
Take a look, and follow all the links at #1158-1155.
What is happening under the radar is that the alien lobby, certain elements of radical Islam, and some on the Left share common goals, tactics, and exploitations of our system and society.
Not a conspiracy, but rather a "coming together on common points."
Certainly you don't think he deserved to be attacked.

What's your point?
I think that should be up to the states and local governments. And, as long as English is the primary language on the ballot, if a state or city wants to put in Spanish, or Vietnamese, or Polish, or whatever, what's the problem? Handle it on a local basis.
I am so glad you posted this BTTT!
As a matter of fact........
sure wish you lived nearby, for several reasons!
Only see South Florida location so far.
That a person ought to be able to speak any language he wishes to speak, as long as he understands English and knows that English will be required of him in most business, academic, and social situations in America.
