Where can I look to see who slipped in earmarks for illegal immigration expenses?

I WANT MY COUNTRY AND IT'S LAWS ADHERED TO!

No you don't, and nobody else does either.

Ask anyone on Southern California's freeways on a Friday afternoon how they feel about law enforcement. You just cant get away with such a literal statement like that. The only laws we want enforced are those against people who piss us off. That is the truth, and you know it.

Would you like your SSI taxes to go up 30% next year? I bet you don't, and I think if you are honest, you will admit that you would rather some Mexican dude (and about five million others) continue to use phony Social Security cards to get jobs in America and pay SSI taxes that allow you to have money left over from your paycheck to pay for your Internet access that allows you and I to have this discussion today.

Right?

Thanks so much for this post and video MNJ,EC and all others who produced it.This is the true story of the war that is not getting out and should.

I can't believe this video, it just screams out to the viewer what heroic, brave, yet caring soldiers we have fighting in Iraq. I doubt anyone can watch this entire thing and still have dry eyes. I couldn't.

It's the story of the war in four minutes and just doesn't get any better.

Thanks again.

I probably sound, on balance, like I'm from Omaha

I definitely sound like I'm from Omaha!! LOL --

So what is wrong with Omaha accents. Actually we don't have much of an "accent" -- which is why the teleservices industry boomed here

Yes, it does cost. And the voters in the states and locals that voted to fund those programs should be asking their elected reresenatives why they did that. They should NOT be coming to YOU demanding YOU pay for their bad govt decisions.

His pretending that he visted the Wall just reminds everyone of his treason. Just dumb, imho.

The Botox is going to his brain. That post about Wolfie having Kerrys swiftboat pic on behind them is bizarre. Most people associate Kerry with three things-

1.Marries for money

2.Weathervane politics

3.Willing to sell the country out for politcal gain.

The last one he has done twice, and it looks like he is posturing himself for another shot at it. Sign the friggin 180 form!!

It's the taxes on the (petrol) gas we would never put up with. (or shouldn't)

okay....nevermind...I enjoyed the debate.. but that is just ridiculous....I do want law and order in my country.... and I don't take kindly to anyone attacking my integrity or telling me that I am for lawbreaking....no reason to continue....

but thank you... I did enjoy it up til this point! and I would rather part FRiends that disagree than to descend into ugliness....

Most Americans, I think, would willingly pay more for produce

Honey, you may not know it, but we're already paying more for produce if you total all the direct/indirect costs that are giving growers a free ride.

Right now, the direct cost of a head of lettuce might cost $1, but debt loads incurred and taxes siphoned off for social services to illegals run another $1,000, plus our roads are in ruins, schools are overcrowded, etc.

It would be better to pay $1,000 for a head of lettuce, reduce the debt, drop the taxes, and all of a sudden have parts of the US return to looking like they are part of a 1st world country.

Everyone always goes away when I make that point. Nobody ever wants to give me an argument against it. I know it reads awful to say that we don't want our laws enforced, but we don't, unless we feel that the law breaker is against us personally. There are plenty of laws that you and I ignore everyday, and we like it that way. You made a literal statement, all I did was point out that adherence to laws are as conditional as anything else, and usually are based on self interest.

Actually the PRICE per gallon is about the same. It's the taxes that are higher.

I am old enough to remember when the tax per gallon was posted on every pump. It was made illegal (state law - not federal) to post it. I think it should be done again -- it should be mandatory for the state and federal taxes to be postsed.

You're in luck. Had to run to the store anyway so I looked. Iceberg is $0.99 a head, today. Did not check the pound weight but a head is around eight inches in diameter if that helps.
