One of the last statements made by Brown was that he was not going to go down ALONE.

He would have made a deal to talk to the investigators.

And you know what I'm talkin' about!

Great post.

Thats for actually giving us some *FACTS*.

Notice that Americans are doing all the vast majority of grounds maintenance, agricultural work, and house cleaning, jobs.

That whining thing from Kerry was really irritating. If it were not still morning here, I would be making a martini.

I cannot convey my contempt for that man. He is the worst combination of arrogance and pettishness, as well as the dangerous stupidity/opportunism I mentioned earlier. He is an awful person with no redeeming value to society.

Fox News Sunday.

Brit is host, so we miss good comments, but Brit is also the best host on TV. He will "steer" the panel as needed.

Report: the US is working on the plans if anything has to be done in Iran. Seymour Hirsch (sp?) reports on US planning as though it were new news.

Brit. Interview Specter on immigration, what happened? Specter: Democrats put political advantage over policy by refusing to allow amendments (Senate rules). Democrats did a "whip check" knowing they could stop any bill changes in the Senate.

Brit: Kennedy and McCain say they had the votes for their bill. Specter? Yes they did, but amendments were not allowed even though they would have been defeated. (huh?)

(By the way. On one of the daily talk shows Thursday, a caller said the amnesty from 1986 cases are not all done yet. So, now congress wants more? Wowzers.)

Brit on leak? Specter says the president owes the nation an explanation. Specter is hedging in an attempt to appear neutral and fair. (Specter needs to stop reading old media if he can't tell the truth between truth and fiction.)

Peter King on. The Senate bill was a failure, is a failure, and cannot pass the House no matter what it looks like. He is also making the case for ILLEGAL versus LEGAL immigration. (Too bad the media does not get that one.) Brit points out the unworkable and illogical procedures in the Senate bill. King agrees they won't work as intended.

Next up: Iraq

wow! Lou Dobbs just cut Chrissy's panel to the bone! "We need real enforcement at the border" then he said "we have no clue, is it 11 million or 16 million illegals? We have no clue"

Chris finally figured out he had to shut Lou up really quick or be exposed for the rat/lib that he is.

That comment on the Vietnam Memorial was truly repulsive. And the WAY he said it, so dramatic and portraying himsmelf as this lone, thoughtful veteran concerned about the troops...ugh. Made my skin crawl.

, I have no such belief about their ability to get the nominee from the moonbats that now make up the power base of the Democrat party

The moonbats are Progressives (aka socialists) who hide behind the Democrat name and who hold the purse strings of the Democrat Party

Which is why when they say jump .. The leaders of the Dem Party Jump

I've been listening to the Senate Debates for some time ... and I can't help but notice many of the Dem Senators repeat the same words the I see posted a sites like the Daily Kos

You are correct .. I don't see them getting elected to a higher office

Because the moderate dem voter is not a socialists

I think the Dem Leaders realize this also .. which imo is why they are playing games on the immigration issue in hope to split the republican vote

Where there's a will, there's a way. I agree the surface question seems impossible. For example, drying up employer hiring will also motivate people to go home.

I'm jumping into the thread late so I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned this as well. The only thing I caught this AM was the FNS roundtable. When they were discussing the 'immigration' bill.
Much like in the Senate, nobody on the roundtable made a single mention of what would be good for the nation. Their only concern was of who scored political points. The Senate, both sides, were only interested in 'winning', farming votes, not what is good for the nation.
This attitude by both the press and our leadership is exactly why we are in the mess we are in today! (IMO)

I would caution against lending too much credence to anything that Pitt scribbles (no matter how attractive it appears). He is a consummate liar and notorious DUmmie......

Yes, I noticed the inconsistancy between what Kerry said and what Guiterrez said. They weren't on at the same time, though, and to be fair to Guiterrez, NO one can keep up with Kerry's many changes of position. You really have to read the transcript to see what I am talking about.

I am also sure that Hayworth was not told that he would be talking about Abramoff, but rather, just about immigration reform. Russert's statement that he would be following Hayworth's reelection race was nothing more than a veiled threat from a self-important, MSM bully. It was a real cheap shot.
