Most of the sinators are on junkets....at our expense.
Boehner is really smooth. Snuffy throws a quote at him about how if they couldn't get the budget done this week, it wasn't worth doing. Boehner counters by simply telling the truth: "I was trying to put pressure on my collegues. It didn't work."
"Was kerry the one at the dedication of the wall that when he spoke everyone turned their backs to him? "
I believe so
I'm listening to Kerry now and wondering if it's 5 o'clock SOMEwhere. LOL
What was the story on the female that survived, but died of blood lose on the flight to the hospital ?
What did the investigation say about the cause of the crash ?
Every time I see this guy I thank Gog he didn't win the election. He is a dangerous, opportunistic fool.
This is what passes for NEWS commentary.
Facts and truth must be ignored?
OMG Lou Dobbs is on the fat chris show!
Learning that McKinney and the other senators had a million dollars for expenses blew my mind.......Is that a million per year?
"I believe that we lost critical time in dealing with Iran, because the White House chose to downplay the threats, and to outsource the negotiations. I don't believe you face threats like Iran or North Korea by outsourcing it to others, and standing on the sidelines. We cannot, and should not, must not, permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons. In order to prevent that from occurring, we must have more support, vigorously and publicly expressed, by China and Russia, and we must move as quickly as feasible for sanctions in the United Nations."
The above is a direct quote from Hillary Clinton, January 2006.

One of the findings of the 9/11 Commission concerns Iran and its alleged support for Al Qaeda. U.S.-Iranian policy has been in the deep freeze for 25 years. How is that going to change with Kerry?
John Kerry regards an Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism armed with nuclear weapons as unacceptable. He has a multiple-part strategy that is much more realistic than the Bush administration's. One is to rejoin and work through the international legal framework on arms control. That will give greater force to the major powers if they have to deal with violators. Secondly, he has laid out, I think in the most comprehensive way in modern memory, a program to secure nuclear materials around the worldparticularly in the former Soviet Union but also in the places where research reactors have existed that could be susceptible to proliferation. The point is to try to prevent Iran from ever getting this material surreptitiously. Thirdly, he has proposed that rather than letting the British, the French and the Germans do this themselves, that we together call the bluff of the Iranian government, which claims that its only need is energy. And we say to them: "Fine, we will provide you the fuel that you need if Russia fails to provide it." Participating in such a diplomatic initiative makes it more likely to succeed"
The above is Jamie Rubin, Kerry advisor, talking to Newsweek during the election.

"International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA): "We are not facing an imminent threat. We need to lower the pitch."
In response, Kondracke claimed that "the experts that I talked to think that on the basis of what the Iranians have announced that they are going to do, as to enrichment ... they will be able to have enough fissile material of their own making for a bomb sometime next summer, summer 2007." Guest-host Chris Wallace then asked, "So, a little over a year?" Kondracke responded, "Yeah." NPR national political correspondent Mara Liasson later added: "[A]s Mort said, time is running out. Pretty soon, Iran is going to have the bomb."

Hersh and today's Washington Post can be all a twitter because Bush just might take action to prevent Iran from nuking us to smithereens, but for many months, the left has been advocating just that.
Keep thinking of that 48%..
1. Invasion and overthrow of Iraq
2. Insurgency
3. Civil war (where we are now).
He also said his bill would force them to form a government, and if they didn't after the bill passed, we should just get out and "let them have their civil war."
Not much concern for the millions of innocent Iraqis who would be caught in the middle, nor of the possibility that Iran would jump into the middle of it.
As I said, he is a dangerous fool.
He's not the hero to the left he dreams he is.
Hi, Johnnie. I've been reading each one of the translations by national treasure, jveritas, and sending them to a dozen media outlets. With darned little result, sadly. The administration is strangely silent about these translations and they are probably the only people who can give the documents the national attention they deserve.
That is why Nixon was given a 2nd chance
Gore and Kerry destroyed themselves and any chance of ever trying to be elected to a higher office
With all of his flaws, Nixon was several orders of magnitude ahead of Gore, Kerry or either Clinton in class and honor. He did what he did, including his resignation, for the country, not for vein glory or crass lucre. You are correct that how he handled himself after 1960 is why the Republicans let him have a second chance.
Though I don't think there's a chance in hell for Gore, Kerry or Hillary to become the president, precisely because they are such low lifes, I have no such belief about their ability to get the nominee from the moonbats that now make up the power base of the Democrat party. They would nominate Sadam or even Satan himself if they thought it would put them back in charge and let them trash the country for 4 more years.
Kerry is stunningly stupid. I think he disguises it with a lot of 5-dollar words, but really, he is both stupid and naive, as well as very self-serving. A dangerous, dangerous man who should NEVER be allowed in the halls of power.
Either way Brown is very dead.
Cowboy boots on Clinton? I hope he gets blisters.
