"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

AMEN on what you are saying now.. We need to stop the leak first, then mop up the spill. Many congresscritters are trying to mop before stopping the leak and many opponents are keeping anyone from stopping the leak by pointing out all the flaws with the mops.

There was a caller to Rush yesterday who alleged (cause you never know) that he worked in immigration who said this was still going on. I am trying to find out if it is true.
The border piece will take years to implement. If you don't rationalize and improve the immigration process the magnet that draws them over will overwhelm the rest and we'll be worse off in the long run.
But, the biggest flaw is the US said it would never offer amnesty again. If it does, it will aggravate the illegal immigration problem for decades to come.
But what about their burden on our schools, hospitals, lower wages and over population? Wouldn't our economy be even that much better if we could regulate who and how many the US receives in immigrants per year?
"Tax Reform" will continue to be an oxymoronic concept until the IRS is eliminated.
With respect to the tax cuts, part of the recommendations that I make in my paper is that all citizens get tax impact statements that show:
1) How much in taxes one has paid over a lifetime
2) Impacts that tax rate increases would have on YOUR situation
3) An illustration of how higher tax rates lower average number of hours worked by a citizen each year.

I thought it was puppies and kitties.
But we cannot deny that they make up 5% of our workforce. The burden they place also comes with the reality of their numbers. That is a LOT of houses being rented, cars being purchased, groceries being bought, etc..
Please don't take me wrong, I am not for amnesty just because of this, I'm just pointing out the complexity of the situation.
Whether they vote or not --- they COUNT!! How many congressional seats (mostly Dem but a few Pub) would CA, TX, AZ, lose if the population would suddenly DECREASE by a few million people.
States like NE, ID, AK (good red states)might even gain a seat.
(Delay made sure illegals were counted in the last census -gained 6 seats -jerrymandered illegals in TX to Pub districts, which is why they particularly hate him almost more than Bush). Federal money is also distributed by population
The only solution is to go to employers and make them clearly understand. You employ illegals, and you lose your business.
