But we cannot deny that they make up 5% of our workforce. The burden they place also comes with the reality of their numbers. That is a LOT of houses being rented, cars being purchased, groceries being bought, etc..

Please don't take me wrong, I am not for amnesty just because of this, I'm just pointing out the complexity of the situation.

They also COST for health care, education, and other benefits. EX. Schools get about 2-3K more for each "Hispanic" student

I'm just pointing out the complexity of the situation.

It is very complex. But the benefits you cite are like (in its extreme) the benefits other law breakers do for our economy. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I think the over-population aspect is the most concerning. Call me a nativist if you will (and Tony can attest to this) here in DC the housing prices have escalated so extremely I can only attribute it to over-population.
