To: Tony Snow
Your compelling argument that illegals "don't hurt our economy" is true on it's face.

But what about their burden on our schools, hospitals, lower wages and over population? Wouldn't our economy be even that much better if we could regulate who and how many the US receives in immigrants per year?

Sen Coburn was on a local radio station this morning stating the bill will be killed in the Senate today.

But we cannot deny that they make up 5% of our workforce. The burden they place also comes with the reality of their numbers. That is a LOT of houses being rented, cars being purchased, groceries being bought, etc..

Please don't take me wrong, I am not for amnesty just because of this, I'm just pointing out the complexity of the situation.
