Laura Bush poses for a photo next to the State Egg Display which exhibits a decorated egg from a select artist of each state at the White House Visitor Center. This tradition began in 1994, and each year the artists vote amongst themselves to select the artist to create the following years commemorative egg which is presented to the President and First Lady.
Laura Bush enjoys a moment with Sal Tinajero, recipient of Hispanic Magazine's Teacher of the Year award in the Diplomatic Room at the White House. Along with being a World History teacher, Mr. Tinajero resurrected the Speech and Debate team at Fullerton Union High School in Santa Ana, California
