This was in the news last Friday. Yet, today, when you Google and search for it, it can not be found, except at Rick Roberts' web site.

I moved out of Penasquitos in '95 and the camp had been there for years. The school district had to buy special busses with heavy duty suspension to pick up the kids. The Catholic church brought in food, legal aid, (and on Saturday nights) hookers to keep the illegals happy. The bastard that owned the last could not get the city to move out the squatters and meanwhile the EPA fined him for lack of sewage treatment. We are about to get screwed, folks -- remember to say 'Gracis Sneatores McCain Y Kennedy' when it happens!

FREE HOUSES FOR ILLEGALS

David Dreier is going to love this idea. He may even take credit for it.

They deserve safe and clean housing and access to running water and toilet facilities.

Insane. The cost of housing in San Diego is so high that now only 5% of the population can qualify for a mortgage.

People are moving out of the state taking the middle-class tax base with them, and their Council does something stupid like this.

Not surprising. Remember the Boy Scout thing? Not to mention that I think most of their council was brought up on criminal charges.

The page needs to be saved in case they try to deny its existence.

Hannity, Drudge, O'Reilly, the usual suspects?

The city is working with Community Housing Works, which develops and operates farm worker housing in the North County, to find land ... free of environmental restrictions.

Is there land free of environmental restrictions anywhere in California?

. . . and then we're going to build a fence so you can't leave even if you wanted to -- and we will have replaced our slaves with 'voluntary servants.'

/sat, I think.

While sitting in my favorite Mexican Restaurant that I frequent weekly, I was railing against the illegal Invasion situation to my husband who is an Hispanic-American. Immediately after the illegal served my cooked by an illegal, but oh so yummy, enchilada dinner, he burst out laughing and called me a hypocrite.

I very nearly choked on my lucious bite dripping cheese down my chin for he was correct.

I decided to no longer frequent any stores or restaurants that have illegals and told my husband thusly. He laughed.

That meant I could no longer purchase fresh fruit or vegetables. I have to mow my own yard. I will have to learn a little carpentry work to make house repairs myself.

It's been quite the experience digging my own garden, the new rail/posts on my front porch look like a one-armed blind man erected them, and enchiladas are an all-day sucker to make.

I'd give my eldest child for a glass of Texsun orange juice.

If somebody could direct me to some non-illegal-made eats that I could purchse (especially fruit), I'd greatly appreciate it before we all get scurvy.

There's probably plenty of sites for this housing south of the border. Another option is housing them in boxcars and slowly move the train south. JMHO

How do the people living in San Diego feel about this? Are there any letters to the editor?
