It's outrageous that Californians are now required to accept freaks in the workplace.

It's outrageous that Californians are now required to accept freaks in the workplace.

Actually its already federalized under the EEOC, I know, I went to court on exactly the same kind of case.

While transgender people are not explicitly covered by the statute they can claim that the perception that they are female is what led to the discrimination and get into court.

All I can say is that if you have one of these people in your office document everything and be prepared for major work place disruptions. The first time the he/she wants to use the woman’s bathroom expect all the other women to go ballistic and that will just be the start.

From my perspective having dealt personally with this issue, is that these people crave attention and suffer form monumental low self-esteem. They hate themselves and think if I change who I am, I will feel better, but it dose not work.

When people in the work place ignore them and their “personal issues” they become upset from the lack of attention. Then they will start doing things to draw attention, even negative attention. Most supervisors are scared to do anything fearing they will get filed on. Then the he/she starts to gain a feeling of entitlement and may even start setting other employees up for the inevitable law suite that’s coming.

We refused to settle and took it to court and won a complete victory, but it was 2 years of depositions, investigations and general workplace disruptions all so a week, perpetually adolescent brat could get the attention he so desperately craved.
