History repeating itself.
Exactly right. They don't want to be citizens. They want to work here to send cash home, untaxed, all while living on our dime.
Big business loves this because with illegals:
1. They have less lawsuits for labor violations;
2. Pay no worker's comp;
3. Pay no social security;
4. No vacation or benefits;
5. Can be fired or hired much easier than an American
6. Can pay less, yet net more to the illegal.
This whole thing is such a scam. MCcain in my butt and GWB are so worng on this. Thier plan will not work, and will encourage literally millions of more illegals to come over here to undercut the current bunch of illegals once they have to pay taxes.
Well, we COULD make them walk back home, but I'm kinder-hearted than that. Besides, I want 'em gone faster.
.....jobs there for the poorest Americans ......
These are the dregs of American society and worthless as employees. They do drugs, lack initiative, are lazy and will not come to work every day. America is prettty much at full employment even with all the illegals.
America can not depend on the legal dregs of society for maintenance of the economy.
Some studies have shown that sympathy for illegal immigration is correlated with an IQ fifteen points below the mean.
Causality, of course, is not proven. It might be that low IQ is causing the poor judgment. Or, alternatively, adopting such a moronic position might be accelerating an existing process of mental deterioration.
Uh I wasn't the one in reply #79 who said, "All we need is enough railroad cars and enough will."
JMO, the immediate above reminds me of what a meglomaniacal socialist fascist said in the 40's.
Not as much as it wlll cost if we let them stay here and soak us dry on the hidden costs....
It would cost nothing, They would self deport if the government/USPS/Banks were not in the money transfer business.
If they could not bank here they could not live here.
The IRS could find them all if the powers that be wanted to. Lord help you if you were a US Citizen who didnt pay taxes.
You got it! The above facts are the REAL reasons, why the gov. is not at all interested in getting rid of illegals.
What part of "All we need is enough railroad cars and enough will.", do you not understand.
Excuse me for reciting a similar quote and action from a murderous socialist fascist regime in Germany in the 1940's.
The legal costs of kicking good American citizens out of their homes and businesses by eminent domaine is certainly more than $148, and it's being done every day by oppressive government in the USA. The cost to the IRS of squeezing a few more tax dollars out of a good American citizen by doing a complete audit of his financial affairs is certainly more than $148. I've never heard a government official or politician say it is simply impossible to catch 11 million tax cheats, so they will forget about audits and will grant them all amnesty. Why are illegal aliens given more rights than US citizens? Ask your senator this question.
And they make a fine mulch for the garden.
Fox does carry the water for the RINO side of theRepublican Party on the big issues. They were all for Dubai running the ports and they are for the Kennedy/McCain amnesty bill. I've seen more than enough of Lindsay Graham on Fox.
Conservatives have no national media outlet yet and must bankroll their own soon. When they do, Fox will really be hurting.
It wouldn't cost anything. Take the money we are sending to Mexico to "build up their economy" and use it to get rid of every last one of them. If it costs more, send Vincente Fox the bill. Send him the hospital bills too.
Maybe not death camps per se, but to wrench people out of their homes and their possessions in the same way the nazis did(i.e nazi rhetoric, IMO, "All we need is enough railroad cars and enough will.")
We can take our country back, God willing. We can in the future vote for only those who are anti-illegal immigration, period.
Bush never was anti-illegal immigration, and he made it known that he never was way back during the primaries and even long before that when he came out against Prop 187 in California. No surprise there.
