LAURA BUSH SAYS HILLARY KEPT BAD HOUSE; WEST WING DECORATIONS WERE GAUDY, OUTDATED

First Lady Laura Bush believes Hillary Clinton did not keep good house during her time as first lady, a new book will charge.

Ron Kessler, a former investigative reporter for the WASHINGTON POST and the WALL STREET JOURNAL, is set to unleash his account of Laura Bush.

On December 18, 2000, just after the Supreme Court ruled on the election, Hillary Clinton gave Laura Bush a tour of the White House. The incoming-First Lady was dismayed at what she saw: Not only were carpets and furnishings fraying and in disrepair in the West Wing and public areas, the Oval Office was done in loud colors—red, blue, and gold! The East Wing was cut up into small offices and had exposed electrical conduits. Many of the furnishings looked dated.

Laura Bush noted how the Lincoln Bedroom looked worn out.

Laura was appalled at the way the Clintons left the White House and Hillary Clinton's gaudy, outdated taste in decorating, reveals the new book, LAURA BUSH: AN INTIMATE PORTRAIT.

The book, which will be published by DOUBLEDAY on Tuesday,
is the only book to be written about Laura Bush with White House cooperation.

MORE

Elsewhere in AN INTIMATE PORTRAIT: After NEWSWEEK ran a Periscope item claiming the U.S. military had flushed a Koran down a toilet, leading to rioting, Laura ordered: "I don't want NEWSWEEK around the house!"

Laura Bush became so disgusted with the media and their war against her husband that at one point, she told her public relations person Noelia Rodriguez she did not want to do any more media interviews. After about a month, she slowly resumed talking to the press.

A close friend of Laura's, Pamela Nelson, asks Laura how she's doing. Laura replies, "Well, it's the Kitty Kelly book and Dan Rather this week..."

Nancy Weiss, a Bush family intimate, told Kessler, "She torments herself by reading the WASHINGTON POST and the NEW YORK TIMES, " and added, "A Texas Monthly article (based on a book by a Washington Post reporter ) said she is a 'bad mom.' She handles it calmly but I can tell things like that do upset her."

I have it from a reliable source that Mrs. Clinton lost her temper over some incident at Camp David and ordered the glasses and mugs thrown out, ostensibly so her husband could not use them for drinking sessions. Not all mugs and glasses were destroyed, and you may find a few Camp David glasses here and there.

Thank you for your post

Didn't the billyblytheclinton's force some guy off of his land to make that horrible double-wide "presidential" library?

It's worse than that.

Choctaw Freight Depot

November 21, 2001: On the day before Thanksgiving, demolition crews moved onto the former May Supply Company site, quickly demolishing the old Choctaw freight station in the center of the complex at the same time that the Friends of the Choctaw Terminal were in court attempting to secure a restraining order to block the demolition.

Historic preservationists wanted to keep the freight depot, which was abruptly destroyed. The Clinton team says it doesn’t fit in.

Former President Bill Clinton breaks ground this week on the site of his future presidential library following the demolition of a century-old freight depot built by former African American slaves.

"While I was in the process of filling out my [legal challenge], the demolition contractor's huge front-end loader machines were tearing out the heart of the Choctaw Freight Depot," Ferguson told CNSNews.com, adding that "through this process, I was witness to some of the most underhanded, reprehensible, dirty, and immoral conduct I have ever had the misfortune to observe."

Clinton told CNSNews.com in September that the depot was "of no use to anybody."

This from the first "BLACK PRESIDENT"!!!

Hypocrite. Yet the blacks in this country fall for his crap each and every time he opens his mouth. He is no friend to them and never has been! And you watch when Hillary runs for President how they fawn over her!

>>>"My point was it's not tasteless"<<<<

The fact that that one and another painting was "Stolen" by Bill and Hill is lost on you, your big deal is...

To you, the big deal is that you do not think that they are Tasteless works of Art?

Your a piece of work Howlin, thats why I like you so much!

I'm just happy that they have been returned, and I would really like an Inventory of missing public property when President Bush moved in, You Know they inventoried what was left, they had to.

I remember watching TV the day the Clintons gave the Bushs that tour. I will never forget Hillary greeting Laura like she was her long lost best friend when I knew that inside Hillary was filled with hatred. I thought at the time "We will really have to watch this woman. She is one of the best actresses I have ever seen." Of course we don't know what went on in private, but I thought it was an extraordinary performance.

Josh Steiner -- Formerly Treasury chief of staff at the tender age of 28, Steiner essentially told Senate investigars he had lied to his diary, which said Clinton "was furious" at Roger Altman's decision to recuse himself. "Persuaded George [Stephanopoulos] that firing him [the RTC investigator] would be incredibly stupid and improper," the notes read. "I wish that my diary was more accurate," Steiner told incredulous Republicans and sympathetic Democrats.

The world's most important decisions are made in the Oval Office...

...The design of the carpet was no exception.

Kaki Hockersmith of Little Rock's Kaki Hockersmith Interiors classifies her work as much more than simple interior design. Her design center offers computer-aided drawing and space planning, one of the most extensive sample libraries in Arkansas and 26 years of experience with many high-profile design projects. "We act as project managers for many of our clients," she says. "We deal with architects, builders, subcontractors and manufacturers, so that a client can come to one place and achieve a coordinated result."

This dedication to seeing a project through from start to finish is not limited to dramatic, whole-house redecorations or totally new construction. Whether a client orders a few pieces of furniture, revamps a single room or builds a new addition, Kaki Hockersmith Interiors works to ensure that the client's vision is achieved. "There is a constant stream of communication with the client," she says. "We always know what's going on with all parts of a project, from furnishings on order to installations."

Kaki particularly enjoys a multi-faceted restoration project as a special challenge. She has demonstrated the expertise and dedication to complete an in-depth historic restoration in her work on The White House.

This included restoring many of the public rooms with consummate historical accuracy as a member of the Committee for the Preservation of The White House and decorating the presidential residence floors. "Accurate research on colors, patterns, textiles and furnishings is so important to maintaining the architectural integrity of an historic building," she says.

That was ugleeee.

Laura might think it, but she is too much of a lady to say it, at least in those words.

I 100 percent agree with you. There is no way that she would say such things even if she thought them.

I can see how the Lincoln bedroom looked "worn out" what with the Great Emancipator's own bed being used as a trampoline by Hollywood's sluttiest trash...
---
Lincoln never slept in the Lincoln bedroom. During the Civil War he used the room as his office. FYI.
The above is not a defense of the Clintons or their guests. If anything it makes their juvenile behavior more disgusting.

The Royal Blue Crushed Velvet Carpet (in the Oval Office) was inspired by Elvis's Graceland Mansion.

I don't know what Laura's complaining about...

The ongoing "Billy Bass" theme the bubbah left behind in every room had a subtle "redneck" charm all it's own. I hear the BB in the oval Office dictated foreign policy for bubbah.

The red and gold brocade early bordello style is a Kaki trademark. One of the magazines, Architectutal Digest or House Beautiful (sic) did a multi page photo spread on this.

And who can forget the huge VOGUE spread of Hellary in haute couture.
