10,000+ ON THE MARCH (illegals say walls won't keep them out)

A roiling sea of immigrants - many of them in the country illegally - and their supporters poured across the Brooklyn Bridge and into Manhattan yesterday to protest what they call "oppressive" reform measures currently under consideration in Congress.
Marchers, waving flags from Mexico, Colombia, Honduras and El Salvador, chanted and carried signs recalling America's roots during the demonstration, organized by state Sen. Ruben Diaz, a Bronx Democrat and native of Puerto Rico.
"That flag on top of the Brooklyn Bridge is symbolic because all these other flags, all these other nations, are covered by the USA," declared Ismael Claudio, 35, also a native Puerto Rican and therefore a U.S. citizen.
In the House, legislation already has passed that would set penalties for anyone who knowingly assists or encourages an illegal immigrant to remain in the country.
The Senate may adopt a broader bill that would be less punitive, create a guest-worker program and open a path to citizenship for the estimated 11M immigrants now in the country without proper papers.
As they trekked over the bridge, demonstrators carried signs proclaiming, "Did the pilgrims need green cards?"
Patricia Urgules, 35, of Ecuador, said......"I came here in search of the American Dream - the dream to be free, to be treated equally," she said. "We only ask for those basic principles this country was founded on."
Construction worker Eduardo Segundo, 40, of Harlem, scoffs at the notion, mentioned by Mayor Bloomberg last week, of a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.
He recalled sneaking across the border 12 years ago - and said 20 of his and his wife's relatives now live in the United States. ".....The wall that they build will not work. People will just figure out a way to cross."

It already has, I wish I could remember who I called, I thought it was a fluke now I realize it was intentional.
Make no mistake this invasion of that many people has sinister overtones, I asked the ques before what are the true reasons over 12 million mass of humanity has invaded our Country.

I read somewhere there were 55 million pot smokers. Why arent they whipping out joints, bongs, and roach clips and organizing a 55 million man march? Its obvious 13 million illegals will get what they want despite the fact they are here illegally.
I have friends waiting in line like everyones relatives did.
Put the military on the borders and do it NOW!

Every stinking one of those who walked out should be expelled for the rest of the year. Ours got ticketed (by police) $500. each, which is not an easy fine for their parents to have to pay.
On a lighter note, our kids, while 'walking,' took a wrong turn and didn't get to meet up with the groups from surrounding high schools.

I substitute teach and one of the things that the kids know about me is that they
had better stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance.
And they do.
There are ways to teach respect.

If they can't go, the suspended seniors said they will walk in protest Saturday night outside KJT Auditorium, where the prom takes place.Okay.
They're still not going to the prom.
To: Kozak
Being expelled or suspended will mean nothing to them. It will just *prove* that they are *discriminated against* and used to justify whatever they feel like doing in return.
I have lived a fairly long time. This is just unreal and I don't recall it happening anywhere before. It is in-your-face rejection of our civil society. As such, any progressive is going to have a hard time sanctioning it and the rest of us are already furious and, in some cases, afraid of the future.
What is it going to take for the mass of Americans, the legal ones, the citizens, to stand up and take our country back? I have no faith that an armed uprising will accomplish anything, except to get Americans arrested and fined and incarcerated....or maybe a few will die in any subsequent riots. I am losing faith that we can do anything at the ballot box. Anyone with the money and party backing to even become a viable candidate will be bought in advance or, if not, then sabotaged.
Withhold taxes? Fines and jail and forfeiture. Tax revolt using an escrow account? The government can use garnishment to take what they want from any account. Millions of us in the street? Maybe it would be a wake-up call, but I can see it being used to brand us all as racists. A general strike in America? Won't happen and would take weeks before it was felt and even then, it would hurt the average hourly worker the most.
What do we realistically do about this that will work?

You forgot the boombox blaring banda.I was being polite, or trying to.
Anyone explained what the odd running lights ( usually red or blue, usually the windsheild washer spigots, but sometimes embedded in grilles or bumpers ) on the vehicles means?

Fine with me. If they break the law then they should all be jailed. Eventually if we stop bending to them, they will start to get the message that we really mean business.

I've seen.
It's very disturbing and it's very real.
They think we (U.S. citizens) are the criminals.
To: Liz
It's b/c the illegals are too stupid and lazy to make the effort to learn.
That's why they demand taxpayers subsidize their every whim.aaarrrrgggghhhhhhh

What do we realistically do about this that will work? Not to sound gross, but this reminds me of a saying my hubby used to say about our government: "They have us by the short hairs."
